@ProducerDrew_ It’s not even the Marner signing, it the trading of Chandler Stephenson, that was stupid. it’s the lack of people shooting the puck. Vegas is slow, the signing that’s hurting us the most is Hertl. Too much passing & mediocre defense. Trading Hauge and Thompson was also stupid.

Question for Golden Knights fans. Now that the season is essentially done…are you happy about the Marner signing? #VegasBorn Vegas is currently on pace for their worst points percentage finish in team history

@Knight71Rider @GoldenKnights Exactly. Instead of getting parts they needed, McCrimmon wanted the flashy name. Marner is a great player just doesn’t fit with the rest of the team. It didn’t help that KM traded Hague knowing that Petro was done. Sacrificed defense for Offense and it hasn’t panned out

@RayDuryea @GoldenKnights And he's been EXCELLENT. Thats the problem...you mortgage so much for one player, the team as a whole is worse. Are two very good players better than one great player and one scrub? As much as depth matters in hockey, yes. And heaven forbid the great player gets hurt.

@GoldenKnights Kelly McCrimmon is not a good GM. He locked up Robin Lehner for 5 years. He locked up Adin Hill for 6 years when Logan Thompson was available. The Hertl trade didnt work. The Hanifan trade didnt work. The Andersson trade didnt work.

@TDChrisG Maybe a different voice in the dressing room unlocked him? Maybe VGK’s issue is Cassidy’s voice has been tuned out. There’s an obvious disconnect with the talent and the production on the ice.

I don't think the loss of Whitecloud is mentioned enough. Dude has been a gem in Calgary.

@TDChrisG The VGK record since then has been horrible as well… Kelly McKrimmon made a monster error in his judgement of the team by not factoring in personality traits of the players leaving, and what impact that would have on the team, because believe me, it’s an important factor.

3 takeaways from the game, presented by @dotvegasinc 1) In a season where special teams has been one of the only things VGK have been able to lean on, it let them down massively and cost them a couple points. 2) Maybe the worst part of this loss is the fact that it adds another team into the playoff mix. If VGK had won this in regulation, NSH would not be a threat at all. Now, they are only 3 points back with a game in hand. 3) You cannot win hockey games if you don’t put the puck in the net. 1 goal in 3 games and 15 in 8 games since the Olympics (6 of which came in the same game). Overpaying guys for very little effort it seems like. I'm hoping we go younger in the offseason but I doubt it.
