Love these videos. I wish I enjoyed vehicles as much as I did in the 80s. On Tuesday I trade in my 2001 Ford Ranger for a brand new Tesla Cyberbeast (with Luxe package before it was discontinued). This may be the greatest delta of all time between the trade-in and the acquired vehicle. I'll be going from a vehicle with no power steering & no AC to a vehicle that requires almost no maintenance with free supercharging for life. A common man able to do it through discipline, patience, and a honey badger vibe who always charges the threat.

Foreign partners deal with us differently now. Having worked for a few presidents, and seeing the road show, and how we’re treated, this time is different. You’ll see some performative objections to the President’s style but, in the end, they know he’s right in his end game.
He has a discursive speaking style, and he’s a hardball negotiator with no time for niceties, but when you see him operate up close, it all makes sense. Few people in politics can close a deal like President Trump. And if the President closes on a Greenland deal, watch all the doomers pretend they were behind him the entire time.
Again, I strongly encourage debate about tactics and mechanics, but give the man a minute to action a plan before dumping all over it.

Hey @elonmusk, hopefully you see this. I know Tesla is planning to move FSD to a subscription only model, which makes sense from a business perspective.
But I have a proposal. The people who bought FSD outright didn't just buy a feature. They invested in the vision. They funded the early development and helped train the AI to where it is today. That contribution should be recognized, not erased.
FSD should stay with their accounts, not be locked to one car's VIN. In ten years, when they upgrade to a new Tesla, they shouldn't have to start a subscription. Instead, they should carry FSD forward as a badge of honor. It would be proof they helped build this.
Imagine a small identifier in the app showing they were early believers. We all love Tesla and believe in an autonomous future. This would honor the community members who truly paved the way.

So this is interesting. Tesla is telling U.S. customers that they must place their order by March 31 to qualify for free FSD transfer, but can take delivery later. That’s different from Tesla’s previous policy, which required customers to take delivery by the end of the quarter to lock it in.
This is a potentially stronger signal that Tesla really will end free FSD transfer this quarter. Otherwise, why wouldn't the company tell people to take delivery by March 31st to boost Q1 deliveries, historically the weakest sales quarter of the year?
We shall see.
