My 6yo son was abducted to India from NY by his dad in 2013. His dad lived in Middle East for 30y but when he needed a place to hide, he chose India.

I’m deeply concerned by the unacceptable violence we have seen in Bangladesh in recent days. Democratic freedoms and the rule of law must be protected. Internet access and communications services must be quickly restored so people can be reconnected with their families and friends. gov.uk/government/new…

Since the internet connection was partially restored in Bangladesh, graphic images and videos have flooded the web. In one such video, members of the Bangladesh police are seen shooting at an injured person from point-blank range (at south of Dhaka, Shanir Akhra area). The injured individual was being carried away by another protestor, but the police shot both. Fearing safety, the person who was assisting ran away with his life, leaving the injured at the mercy of almighty. They were unarmed. Sheikh Hasina and her associates should be held responsible for this carnage. I'm at a loss for words to describe this. Not once did Hasina mention the students who lost their lives during the recent protests during her latest presser with business leaders. The police killed at least 170 students (the actual number is likely higher), but she didn't express any condolences, nor did she address the police brutality. All she said was that the protest was orchestrated by '@BJI_Official and @bdbnp78,' and she will go to any extent to arrest and punish the perpetrators. This is sickening. What a classic case of a dictator she is!
