@StaceyJSpiehler I grew up in Northest PA (home of Dundee Mifflin). No diversity, plenty of disgusting opinions from people who never met a black person or other POC. Still the same even after some diversity was achieved.

Just finished what will be my last completed book of 2025 and what a way to end the year. This book should be required reading in every Indiana high school. A masterful history of the Hoosier 1920s that, sadly, sounds still too familiar in the 2020s.

@Mrdecent000 Repubs did the same in Utah. A repub Congressman changed the law to say if a rapist/pedo is still in high school they will not be charged as an adult. His 18yo nephew had charges that would have locked him up for 40+ years changed to probation and no registration as an offender.

@Mrdecent000 he's only eighteen and while the law says he's grown, he's not grown. he should be offered rehabilitation for sure. I personally also think jail time is appropriate. as a juvenile. I do think he should be on a sex offender registry. but what do I know. It's my job.
