@femiiiszn It also might not take much. If you can read say 30 pages in an hour, reading for one hour a day could result in 900 pages a month. 3-4 books a month perhaps, could be 40 books a year.

read more books. read to escape reality. read to understand reality. read to challenge what you believe. read to think better. read to write better. read to argue better. read to know yourself. read to build something. a single book can completely rewire your brain.

@SahilBloom A former co-worker once bragged about how much more money he made than some person at a bank...but he also worked from morning to evening, maybe 8 am - 8 pm. What life is this? I would rather be the guy in the bank. Less money but more freedom.

@TheJoeySwoll From my own experience: A walk on a sunny day can be helpful. Temporary solution, but I felt better. Probably the combination of sunlight plus walking.

@Tim_Denning This might be a general problem people have. Losing weight has to be quit, hence the crash diets rather than playing it long. Business success has to be quick as well. Getting answers to complicated questions? Well, quick google search rather than doing research and reading books

The long game is ignored by 99% of people. Social media tells you that you can get any goal in a few days or have a Claude Bot do all the work for you. People are gullible so they believe it. Which means instead of putting in the work, they believe their success is only a matter of time and they'll start this summer. Then they try for 30 days and quit. Or never start. Playing long games with a high rate of iteration allows your results to compound. I personally only focus on goals that take decades. I'm 12 years into writing daily. Last 2 years my results exploded. Long games work if you ignore clickbait.

The long game is less crowded. Play the long game.

@CoachDanGo Many people might underestimate other benefits that come from weight loss except looking better. Some might be more motivated if they indeed could sleep better, feel better, have more energy...

Before working together, Cliff had a terrible diet & zero structure while being deprived of sleep. In 6 months, we dropped 44 lbs while losing 6 inches off his waist. His sleep habits have improved & now he has so much energy he feels like he's in his 20s again.

Some people have a future version of themselves but they might also not be willing to give up the current version of themselves to become what they could be

@TheK_Nox But that might be the issue really. The future self yes, but the current self is asking for something else perhaps and many people put more weight on the current self..

@PathOfMen_ I remember an instance when I worried about the worst case scenario: What if I get a bad grade, how will this effect my final grade...and then I got a good grade. But even if I had gotten a bad one...how would that worrying have prevented it anyway? Might just be wasted time.

@Freonat depressed + manic = Bipolar perhaps. Even the sleepy part could be explained by that since depression might possibly also reduce your energy.

@hpfounder Well being uncomfortable is something than can be beneficial not just to delay aging possibly. Getting a degree, starting a business, approaching a person you are interested in...how many people do regret their life because they wanted to stay in the comfort one?

If you want to delay aging, you can't be comfortable. Lift the heavy weights. Do the cardio despite how you feel. Eat the healthy foods when cravings say otherwise. Keep learning when your brain wants to watch Netflix. Your body is constantly battling for easy. You can't let it.

@metabolic_print There is evidence that a ketogenic diet could improve depression. If depression is related to impaired energy this would make sense. Perhaps because a ketogenic diet improves metabolism.

@thegarybrecka What might get the day rolling: Cold bath or cold shower. Can give a good burst in energy and mental clarity, remove tiredness. It might only take a minute.

@Ishita_Sharma42 You do not get such a body just because of money. The difference between the two likely also includes different diet, workout, a more healthy lifestyle

@FitWealthyU Comparing yourself to others might not be the best way to go. Perhaps it is better to use yourself as the standard rather than others? See how you are today and where you could be in 5 months and then compare that.

Red meat gets blamed for everything modern lifestyle actually caused. heart disease, inflammation, hormonal issues. humans ate red meat for millions of years. seed oils have existed for 100. do the math.

You might read online that you should sleep for 7-8 hours and how important sleep is. However, you might already know about the importance of sleep. Rather...your problem might be broken sleep that you do not know how to fix.
