This is a response to a story on vandalized synagogues. I'm sorry I must explain that hateful vandalism is not "telling people" anything & attacking a synagogue bc you are angry abt Gaza is no more justifiable than attacking a mosque bc you are angry at the 10/7 terror attacks.

This is a significant escalation, equating Israeli civilians Hamas kidnapped with Israeli-held enemy combatants. Even worse — this attempts to justify, or give reason for, the initial October 7 attack.

Tomorrow, MPs will be voting on the call for a ceasefire in Gaza. It is a simple moral choice: do you support the indiscriminate killing of human beings, or do you want to stop the further loss of life? In the aftermath of horror, we need voices for peace and diplomacy. Instead, our government has given the green light to unconscionable death and destruction. I condemn the targeting of all civilian life. That includes the deplorable acts of terror by Hamas against Israeli civilians. And that includes acts of terror by the Israeli government against Palestinian civilians. More than 11,000 people in Gaza have been killed, almost half of whom are children. Without a peaceful and political solution, this cycle of violence will go on and on, and it is the responsibility of members of Parliament to demand an end to the ongoing loss of life. We cannot become distracted from our overriding goal: to bring about freedom, justice and peace for all Palestinians and Israelis. With every passing minute that the bombing continues, another human being is killed. This must end, now. I will vote for a ceasefire tomorrow, and I will continue to demand the release of hostages, an end to the siege of Gaza, and an end to the occupation of Palestine. I urge colleagues to do the same.

On the people tearing down US posters of missing Israelis. Today I saw them plastered all in front of a Palestinian restaurant. None of the posters include Palestinians. Nor a ceasefire. Maybe a motivation for taking them down is because they’re seen as fomenting killing more innocents.

Funny how no TV show accurately portrays the American poor I just saw one where a thin nuclear family, not on drugs, checked into a motel. No one in the US who meets those basic criteria can’t afford a hotel! But we want stories of an imaginary “poor”, not to see fat people.

I don't have the time of course. But if someone wanted to offer enough money and we could do the experiment I would do it just to prove Shakespeare is fake. We'd just have to find people who don't know Shakespeare, and blindly give them Shakespeare's Hamlet or Hanania version.

Pretty sure if you gave me a year I could write Shakespeare quality work. Like if someone hadn't read all of Shakespeare and you randomly gave them me or him, on average they couldn't tell the difference. Of course without the blind test people would pretend it wasn't as good.
