I readily admit I am indifferent to client expectations. An agency I work for raised the "well, the client expects..." to which I replied "they may expect a fucking pony for xmas but it doesn't mean they're getting one either". I don't think they appreciated my candour.

@SpencerPI Some business just isn't worth the aggravation. There is a collections company I used to serve some docs for via another agency and it was bottom of the barrel stuff. And they paid the lowest rates but expected a premium service.

@anonymouspi And then, I got a call from some low life process serving outfit. Called me from a blocked number. Guy had gone to them and they thought doing me a solid by “giving me business.” No and no.

Few things make me as nervous as guys looking for address of ex, even if for legal purposes. Why I require that search authorization comes from an attorney.

My dear Japanese friends. This is my rice cooker that I've had for 5 years. I use it... To make rice. I've heard recently that there's more that I could be doing with this. What else can I make with it? Also, is this a good one?

In today's exciting adventure I am about to pose as an interested buyer at a real estate auction to serve an injunction on the sellers if they are present. One has just recently been convicted on fraud charges (again).

@Askwhyisit Well, 2 plus 2 equals 4. There is only ONE correct answer, there are infinite wrong answers. I say compare the Bible against the Quran for yourself and see which one convinces you it is true.

The Bible is only 100% true to a Bible believer and the Quran is only 100% true to a Quran believer.

Well, I have just had my biggest billing month in 21 years, and it's not quite over yet.

41 days of work without pay? That's a 'You' problem. Quit the TSA. TSA does not need to exist anymore. US Congress doesn't care. People will take care of their own security.

As anticipated, I had to return to lock out that business. Unfortunately, they misread the documents sent to them by lawyer and thought they could still trade until end of month.

@Carl1411c @CC_Chickpea @bmay You are right, they don't. But they do place speed limits and implement other safety measures (such as road marking and signage) to reduce the liklihood of accidents.

@MK_Foxbat It's actually pretty simple metrics. Nazis are bad (and sold out Latvia to the Soviets in the first place) but Soviets were worse.

The whole "Latvians were forced to fight with the Nazis" narrative falls a bit flat when you spent the next decade fighting and your monuments/memorials to them are still up. You don't really seem oppressed/unwilling when you actually fought harder/longer than the Nazis...
