@thaboybaba @OmoAlade007 Does Thragg know that though?
English

Thragg knew that a species compatible with Viltrums existed with a fairly large population, so doesn't that mean that even if only one Viltrum remained, it could reproduce indefinitely without any genetic problems with humans and recreate the Viltrum race? So why did he spare Nolan and Mark?

@Promiseishim Reminds me of the new Superman movie. They were debating including the trunks or not. James Gunn thought they looked kind of silly.
David Corenswet said something like, “Maybe that’s the point. Maybe he wants them to be a little silly so that people aren’t terrified of him.”

@BransonTMZ @TMZ This is the first time I’ve seen a celebrity talk openly about it

5 years from now people will look at unlimited $200 AI subs the same way we look at the $5 uber days

hey @NYCMayor fix this please

@whitemanrolling @SquatUniversity I probably would have thought they paused the video if not for the spin. He was down there a while

@fluoxetinana_ She could literally stop eating for 6 months and not die

@KingTargaryenn That’s jobs in general. Maybe when you’re young you have one where everyone is your best friend, but then you leave eventually and fall out of contact with 95% of them and you get older and find you’re better off being friendly, but keeping your personal life separate from work.

@elonmusk @Not_the_Bee What happens to human only services if everyone is rich? Eg if someone wants to speak with a human therapist and not a clanker? Or hire a human babysitter? Why would these people work if they’re also rich?
Do they just become prohibitively expensive?
English

Actually, AI/Robotics will mean everyone can have a penthouse if they want. The output of goods & services will be several orders of magnitude higher than today’s economy.
Read the Iain Banks Culture books for the best imagining of how it will be.
That said, what is the future you want? Amazing abundance seems the best to me.
English

@healthfact_myth @AutismCapital And the thing is people will get angry at these statements. They’ll fight harder to protect their identity as an anxious person than to get out of it.
Again, some people probably just have messed up brains. But more people just think they do.
English

@healthfact_myth @AutismCapital How many anxious/depressed people arent eating right, don’t get outside, don’t exercise, don’t get enough sleep, have no purpose they’re working towards? Aren’t doing the basics? Most of them. That MAY be result of the anxiety/depression but the reverse is ALWAYS true.

@GreyJammies @FreckledLiberty @_Just__Ice_ Seemed like a staged interview IMO. She’s clearly dressed and made up to look her best, walks towards the cameras at the perfect angle, immediately stops her conversation to answer the question, is not at all surprised they’re there (why would they be, she’s not a celebrity).
English

@FreckledLiberty @_Just__Ice_ I’d say it was a question asked of her by the interviewer not something she volunteered
English

@e_fosa08 Has there been anything that told us they can regenerate missing limbs? Eg Oliver gets a cybernetic jaw and arm, those don’t regrow back, skin just grows over them.
English

@elonmusk @ImKingGinger Like, easy example, someone wants to talk to a therapist, but they want a real human, not a clanker.
How would you get that therapist to work when they have high income and don’t need to? Do they just charge a lot more? Is that human service now unaffordable?
English

@elonmusk @ImKingGinger What happens if I need a human to do something IRL that ai/robots aren’t good at or aren’t as good as humans at?
Would they just be prohibitively expensive? Or why would any humans want work at all, especially if the job in question is unpleasant or dangerous?
English

If everyone gets a million dollars.
No one has a million dollars.
I'm not sure why no one understands this.
Elon Musk@elonmusk
Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.
English

@TheeIslanddd @warrie2021 @e_fosa08 Why not have several kids for more data and not to put all his eggs in one basket? Like maybe mark didn’t manifest, but he learns that about 50% of kids do? Or what if child mark got killed by a villian or kaiju or something? More kids still makes more sense for redundancy.
English

@warrie2021 @e_fosa08 He needed to see if Mark would manifest Viltrumite powers.
English

@_DidZW @jesse_vermeulen I feel like it’s making me dumber for sure. Not doing the same kind of hard cognitive work I was when I wrote code by hand. A bit of prompting, then scrolling mindlessly. Sometimes a little task multitasking, but often its easier and more productive to just do one thing at a time
English

@jesse_vermeulen I think most people will say scrolling the social media, but if thats the case does AI truly makes people more efficient or just more lazy?
