@Min4x_x I once read like 590 pages of a 650-page book and then DNF’ed it. It was already on probation from annoyances, and I could tell it wasn’t going to land the plane successfully.

@SObooknerd You generally get that situation, when it happens, with a good book being elevated to great. But if a writer can pull off that transformative of an ending, are they really going to be displaying mediocrity up to that point?
