Is there a phrase or way of talking that gets on your nerves? For me the one that wrangles every time is “I was like….”. No you weren’t “like”! You may have said, you may have replied or you may even have thought, but in no way, shape or form were you “like”! 😂 (It could be that I’m noticing this more at the moment as I’m in the USA and everyone here seems to be “like” 😂)
