@My_Capering_Id @Pirat_Nation its an amazing game, however i personally agree that the game feels to similar to DD1 up until you actually finish the game and get to unmoored world number one issue has to be enemy variety, there needs to be more, some enemies change on ng+ but thats it

Dragon’s Dogma 2 received a mysterious 77 GB update on SteamDB today, so people think it’s a DLC or an expansion. The new depot appeared briefly and was much larger than the game’s 65 GB base install. Then was removed and replaced with tiny placeholder files. They could be doing internal testing for new content. Capcom has not commented.

They're trying to put path tracing into GTA1. I've seen it done to classic games like Mario 64 with decent effect but I don't know how I feel about this one. What do you guys think?

@edgrdfw @Rocketstaronx Its very dense and packed with lots of things to do. Just look how small LS city is compared to GTA 4. GTA 5's map is almost 70% mountains and off-road areas where we rarely go. GTA 4 is by far the better map and in my opinion just a much better game overall.

Someone made this map of GTA IV, GTA V, and GTA VI in a high-resolution (5000 × 5000) format, combining all three eras into a single clean comparison for better clarity. The goal behind it was to fix a common issue with most online references, where comparisons between GTA IV vs GTA V vs GTA VI are often low quality, blurry, or inconsistent when zoomed in. This makes it difficult for mapping projects and community analysis to accurately study scale, layout, and regional differences. By redrawing and refining the visuals in full color and higher resolution, this version makes it much easier to visually track how the map evolves across the different games. It also aligns better with the style used in the mapping project community, where detail and accuracy are prioritized.

What’s with all this anti path-tracing propaganda I’m seeing today? The path tracing results in Pragmata looks amazing, and physically correct. Emissives are properly contributing to the lighting, with proper occlusion, reflection, and contact-hardening shadows

@JamesResEvil so you didn't get why OG is so good? you're actually engaging with the core system by shooting fellas and kicking them, it's pure, while enemies actually pushing you to move (even if a bit) + requiring you to use a shotgun instead of a pistol for crowd control

@kozlovskyi79217 Mouse support makes the game a lot easier, and adding re4_tweaks' free camera basically just breaks it.

Dipped into RE4 for a bit. Had to adjust to controls, cause last time I played it was years ago. And yeah, first village encounter on professional feels like you can complete it with your brain turned off. And it's not even about easy staggers, you get showered with ammo.

@KutarkV @Pirat_Nation framegen is perfectly fine above 60fps, both AMDs and NVIDIAs implementation, not every game needs perfect frametimes and close to 0 input lag, not sure what you are on about.
