I was supposed to audit this site today. I didn't want to, but I told the content creator, there was no point in wasting his time. He'd be better off copying all the content and uploading it to a brand new site. Yes, we can play with the site much as we want. We can update content, build backlinks, remove the ads and affiliate links, add unique images, improve site speed, etc. The result will be the same. Btw, the site is already fantastic, and I would personally read everything if I was interested in this topic.

My Instagram reels went viral recently! 6000 likes and 71k views on a small account, leading to a 90% increase in follows. Some takeaways: - Working “very hard” on a short video, to the point that you feel stupid for obsessing over tiny details, will get you rewarded by the algorithm. It’s worth it. Quality >> quantity. - Have a vision and storyline for the video. Try to be prescriptive (proposing an idea or narrative on top of the clips) rather than descriptive (summarizing a bunch of info). - Know your audience: have a well-defined niche and double down on it. Don’t try to please people who aren’t in your target demographic. - Instagram is particularly challenging, but when you break through, they promote your content for days or even weeks. It feels strange to wake up in the morning and see 300 notifications for something you made 7 days ago. Twitter, in contrast, seems to be more strict about recency, and the buzz goes down after 24 hours. - There’s a lot of anti-spam filters these days and sometimes your video just gets stuck at zero for a long time. You need to play with the account and warm it up so that the system thinks you’re a human. There’s still a long journey ahead. For 2025, I have 2-3 niche interests that I want to explore through content. Let’s see how it goes!
