Welp.. the dentist called me after finding out I cancelled. He said that 3 appointments using nitrous is a lot on a child and they have a ‘try fee’ of $100 if they do what the parent thinks should happen and it doesn’t work. (Do they give me $100 if it does?) what dentist does this?? Finding a new dentist.

Tell me if sedation dentistry on a 4 year old is something that needs to happen? I have an appointment set up for Micah on Monday. He has 3 cavities on back molars 😫 they don’t want to traumatize him and bring him in 3 times to fix them one by one (don’t think he’ll sit long enough for doing all) so anesthesia it is and get it all done at once. Of course parents can’t be in there for that, which is hard because I don’t trust anyone. I’ve been having heart palpitations and upset stomach being so nervous about it. Titus has one coming up and they want to do not sedated but give him a big relaxer and said sometimes it causes kids to thrash and they have to use VELCRO STRAPS to hold down and I also can’t be in there for that. I kinda am thinking wait until he’s older and just fix like normal? Help- I’m so stressed !! 😩 I just want to do what’s right for my kid, get the teeth fixed..

I, for one, find it absolutely impossible to keep my options open as once I am into someone, and they reciprocate, every other man ceases to exist until it is absolutely abundantly clear that we aren’t getting married lol. I don’t understand how to have a roster. 😭

@harmonizedjen Moving between 2 places often would turn me into a minimalist! My mom moved a ton over the past couple years and she ended up storing keepsakes and heirlooms with family who are settled and then only kept what fit in 2 suitcases.

i decluttered my entire house during my 9 month social media break and this was literally me. at one point it stopped being "do i need this?" and turned into "omg just get it out of my HOUSE"

Thing is, kids die much more often chasing a toy into the pool, infact, a ultra rich influencers kid did just that. I guess i would focus more on the legions of those deaths

I hate to be the buzz kill but this is insanely dangerous. Not the roughhousing. That’s fine.
The pool. A crazy number of people drown each year. You can’t see the bottom. Any hindrance to getting out when someone is panicking is not great as well.

It takes sooooo little time for someone, adult or child, to have a problem in the water. It’s just a bad idea to add factors that could exacerbate that further.

All of our towels keep going missing.
Every time I put a new one out in the kitchen, it disappears.
Realized the other day that Eliza throws them in the dirty pile when they get damp.

@AnthropoceneMe1 Our daughters are more clearly sequels to their grandmothers (one for each) and “fun” is definitely one aspect of that. “Wait, how is *that* genetic??” is an extremely common refrain in our house.
