While Dapper Labs launched Flow, it's an entirely independent entity at this point. Apps like TopShot and AllDay are just users of the network now. On the Flow side, the tokenomics require FLOW to be worth enough to incentivize validators to run nodes. If it hits zero, the network loses its security and halts. That said, FLOW going to absolute zero isn't a likely scenario given the active development on the chain, but the token does need to maintain value to keep the network secure.

Let's pretend i'm a complete NOOB.. someone explain the intertwining relationship between @flow_blockchain, @dapperlabs & FLOW as a cryptocurrency. As flow as a cryptocurrency continues to bleed itself down to nothing (under .03 at the time of writing this) what happens at zero?

@berkokid @Luigi_cryptoe @arielremer @NBATopShot Agreed, more annoying than anything. Buyback system is imperfect, but I appreciate what it's trying to accomplish (sweep floors, provide liquidity, and procure Moments for packs without having to mint more).

@arielremer @berkokid @NBATopShot GPH then sells back to Buyback and the cycle starts all over again. Infinite money glitch. In an ideal world the Buyback account would prioritize collectors who actively lock, instead of enriching the bot that's been breaking TOS for three years.

That's a nightmare of a loss. But you're both hitting on the same point: it’s less about a card being "held" and more about it being owned. If someone can disable your property, it was never yours. A true NFT is irrevocable and decentralized, anything centralized claiming to be one is fake.

@DrewAustin @openclaw Hard to blame him. Most of crypto is absolute trash, dominated by pump-and-dumps and empty hype. It's a shame the tiny fraction of builders actually creating meaningful value gets drowned out by the noise.

This sucks to see. The founder of @openclaw, which is the perfect use case to demonstrate the true value of crypto, despises crypto to the point where if you mention it in their community you get blocked. What a missed opportunity to influence change.

As always, the original footage should remain the source of truth. But AI continues to get better at cleaning up extremely difficult historical film without altering the moment itself.
