@raycast I’d love a custom screenshot utility in Raycast! The default one works, but I need more features like native text recognition, scrolling shots, and a nicer interface for editing. I know third-party ones exist, but it’d be great to have it in Raycast.

Beyond the new visuals, this redesign reflects a subtle change in @matter's identity. Last year we tried to fashion Matter into a more mainstream consumer app that we could grow on Meta. This involved shifting Matter's product positioning away from pure tool toward a more "on rails" content app. It didn't quite work, and in retrospect it was a minor identity crisis :) Many lessons learned, but the bottom line is we gained new clarity and appreciation about what Matter is and who it's for. Today's update brings Matter closer to its core identity (eg. bringing back the Inbox, jettisoning reading goals/streaks), and future product development will continue to serve the high-intent, committed reader.

@raycast Are you planning to sync chat history across Raycast and ChatGPT?

@culturedcode Sometimes I set a start date for the project itself instead of scheduling each task within it. It’d be great to mark a project "done for today" so it hides from Today and automatically reappears tomorrow, cleaner than rescheduling manually to tomorrow each day

Apple News is just ridiculously good in iOS 26 and I find myself using it more and more

@TheAppleDesign Apple's music algorithm for discovering new music is inferior to Spotify's. The Mac app is also poor unless they fixed it in macOS26. I used Apple Music for a year but recently returned to Spotify and feel at home.

Apple Music turns 10 today Apple Music is cheaper than Spotify, Sound quality is way better with Dolby Atoms and Magical Spatial Audio, It just works in Apple Ecosystem, Provides monthly and yearly recap so why do some of you still use Spotify

@joshm, I’m having trouble with the iCloud Passwords extension in Dia. Every time I try to use it, I get a pop-up telling me to download macOS Sonoma, even though I’m already running the latest version. Any ideas?
