@RustyRishii You are absolutely right. Manufacturing salaries are shit. In big automotive companies it takes years to reach 12-15 lpa mark. Plus the office culture isn't as great as IT, the free lunch sucks, much fewer number of women, lot of dealing with dehat

Maahir, I have a counter argument, If you start your career in IT even with a 3 LPA job, then within 1 or 2 year's of hardwork, you can switch to jobs that pay more than 8 to 10 lpa. You just need to put in the hard work. But in the factory work, I don't think it's the same. You can work for years.... and still very hard to reach the numbers. Happy to be proven wrong.
Maahir Panchal@maahirpanchal

India treats factory work like a failure and software like success. A kid who runs his family's workshop is "settling." A kid who joins an IT service company to do ticket work is "making it." We got the status hierarchy exactly backwards.

@WhateverVishal Bro I was in Praiano, Italy and a waiter there only knew one thing about India. He asked me if all temples have 1000s of rats. I was confused then remembered this one temple showcased in some Nat geo show years ago. That was his only knowledge about India.

Imagine, a simple return tigh-slap would have put that Turban wearing guy into a shock of his life. All beadbi & attack on minority would have come to mind. That slap would have thrown his pagg on the road & further shown his bravery to the world. Why start what you can't finish

#RoadSafety #ThinkBeforeYouReact #HumanityMatters #StayCalm #RespectLife #SelfControl #NoRoadRage

@Prithvi10_ It's real. Shops in Vile Parle don't sell eggs fearing losing customers as it's a heavily jain/gujju dominated area. No eggs/ meat available in a 3km radius.

people say you should not rush to get married and to a certain degree i agree as well. but i think the older i get the more i see myself being more and more set in my ways and not wanting to change so much for someone else.

@kingslyj If the goal is PR and winnin gelections. Nothing is going to happen on ground. If previous governments say the eradicated Polio, I know it's true cuz I don't see anyone suffering from it today. I do see people shitting in the open still.

It's not that India cannot do things. We eradicated Small Pox and Polio with proper awareness campaigns. Problem is Pradhan Non-Biological's Entire Political Science degree did not cover the Cobra Effect. So instead of building toilets, we ran a nationwide corruption scheme.
shoaib daniyal@ShoaibDaniyal

Apart from the almost expected data fudging, it's absolutely astounding that India can't abolish open defecation. The use of toilets is cheap and a practise that is hundreds of years old. Countries much poorer than india have managed it. What does it say that India is unable to achieve something so painfully simple and one that has such massive health benefits.
