When I ask for the Spirit to guide me in teaching the gospel, I'm almost always led to use a softer tone than I originally wanted to. That doesn't mean the Lord has gotten soft on commandments, obedience, etc. It means He has a different way of teaching it than we do. #SaintsOnX

The Proton ecosystem has grown significantly, with private AI, a 2FA app, encrypted spreadsheets, video calling, and appointment scheduling all joining the ranks recently. Now we're sharing our spring/summer 2026 roadmaps. Here's what's coming... 🧵 1/13

I had a good experience with @ProtonVPN's free tier in the past, so I recommended it to someone recently. Now it forces a random country, limits your ability to change servers, and is too annoying at pushing the user to upgrade. Very disappointing and harder to recommend now.

Happy Easter, everyone! I’d like to share my favorite bible verse: Romans 8:11. How can you not be inspired by this? Whenever I’m going through a hard time, I always come back to this verse. After losing my dad and aunt unexpectedly this year, my mom 11 years ago, this verse has been etched in my brain. That my parents and aunt are in a better place. And through Christ I can overcome anything. Have a great day everyone!

@Ephraimite_98 There's understandable excitement about hastening the work, but sometimes we fall into wanting "to hear some new thing" (Acts 17:21). Pres. Nelson called out irreverence at temple announcements and suggested prayerful reflection instead. We can do the same with other changes.

I’m relatively new to the Church, But the vastness of comments I’ve seen regarding General Conference, seem to be more of a spectacle of astonishment over possibly policy changes… than any meaningful Doctrine taught or actual Revelation that would aid us today…?

The missionary with a family history that goes back to Adam and Eve. During his service in the Peru Trujillo South Mission, Elder Scooles has not only been recognized for his dedication to the Gospel, but also for something truly amazing: he has managed to trace his family tree back to Adam and Eve. It all happened when he shared his family tree with members of the neighborhood where he was assigned. The reaction was immediate: total amazement. While many manage to trace their ancestors back to generations 20 or 25, Elder Scooles presented a record with hundreds of generations, including names dating back thousands of years before the birth of Jesus Christ. Their family tree, stored in FamilySearch, contains so much data that even the app had difficulty loading the information completely. From their closest grandparents to Old Testament characters, their family line seems to stretch without limits. According to records, their family history dates back to the year approximately 4,069 to 3,070 BC, where mentioned Adam and Eve appear (Adam and Eve). This event not only impressed local members but also prompted conversations about the importance of missional work and family history, highlighting how both can go hand in hand to strengthen witness and sense of belonging in the Gospel. @_maryrichards @the_churchnews Hi! I'd love to write for Church News or Newsroom. Grew up fluently bilingual, been writing since I was six, have done paid writing as an adult, and happy to provide samples. Can you point me in the right direction? The Deseret News jobs site doesn't have any openings. Thanks.🙂

Good evening from Cambridge, Massachusetts, where I have been on assignment for @the_churchnews. Coming soon is an article on faith in the public square, followed by an article on how young single adult Later-day Saints here are living their faith.

@ATrueMillennial One of my favorite things is to see new/strengthening members do something "not quite right" at church. Because it means they're trying and learning.

Recent converts are bearing their testimonies in the adult session of stake Conference right now, making this the most "lively" stake conference I've ever seen. This most recent speaker in particular was interesting. Until very recently, a pastor of his own church. He meet the missionaries and l made a deal with the mission president: "You come to my church one week and I'll come to yours." He had no idea when he came and started reading the book of Mormon that his life was about to be changed forever. His testimony asking certain members to stand up for applause, loud call and response rounds of "amen," and some good ol fashioned Baptist-style pulpit thumping. And a LOT of powerful, pure witness of his personal friend Jesus Christ. I know what the handbook says about reverence, and these new members will learn it. But for right now, I think it's just AWESOME to see the energy and enthusiasm and pure simplicity of the Gospel they bring to our stake. I know I for one could use a booster shot of they spiritual energy from time to time. I would love to interview this good brother and share his story with you.

@RelevantQuest I like the toolbox analogy. You can apply it to why having the fullness of the gospel doesn't mean we know everything.

Beautiful image, I like it. By the way, the gospel is complete in the way a good toolbox has a complete set of tools. With it, you can accomplish anything the Lord requires of you on earth, receive all the revelation He has waiting for you, carry on a perpetual and living communion with Him, make and keep covenants with Him, receive forgiveness through the grace of Jesus Christ, and learn His infinite ways in His timing. The “complete gospel” is a full set of tools, not a finished work. The work of creation never ends.

I love that I’m seeing this rendering of the Church’s logo that I made circulating around. Reminder: the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true, and contains the complete gospel of Jesus Christ.

Spiritual thought from Elder Worlton: "As mentioned before, some people we're teaching have found the internet, so to speak. They have found a lot of information about the church there. Some of it, for sure, is true. A lot of it is also not true. A lot more of it is true, but used in such a way to make the church and its doctrine look as sketchy as possible. One can argue, and discuss over these different points of church history (what did happen and what didn't, but none of this will truly do anything, as I have seen firsthand in one of these discussions recently). Joseph Smith taught: "I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book." Even this one statement is able to be contorted into something it's not by people who want to prove the church false. But, the statement about the Book of Mormon being the keystone of our religion is absolutely true. A testimony of the Book of Mormon is crucial to resolving doubts. If one needs a testimony of the Book of Mormon, or really wants to know what the truth is, they need to go to the person to whom we ascribe all this doctrine, which is God. We know that God will not lie (Enos 1:6, Numbers 23:19), and that he will answer those who dilligently seek the truth (James 1:5), and are willing to act upon that truth which they recieve (Moroni 10:4-5). This really is the only way to resolve a doubt about spiritual matters. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

My fellow #SaintsOnX, this is a great post and a great account to follow:
First Estate@firstEstateKLB

Joseph Smith and the book of Mormon pass every biblical test Many detractors will mention tests in the Bible, they will say “you have to test every spirit“, but then they won’t actually test them. Let me run the testing here for them: Test 1 ✅ Matthew 7: 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Since a corrupt tree can’t bring forth good fruit this test passes. Test 2 ✅ Romans 16:18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Since we are not appealing to base (carnal) desires we pass this test Test 3 ✅ 1 John 4: 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world Since from the beginning, Angel, Moroni, Joseph Smith, Jesus Christ himself, every living prophet since has affirmed Jesus is the Christ, the eternal God therefore we easily pass this test. Test 4 ✅ By this shall man know he are my disciples if ye have love one to another While we are not perfect, most people see members of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints as the best, most loving people in the world

@limedoorstudio Primary Gen. Presidency said don't ask kids, "do you feel the Spirit now?" in singing. Because if you've told them to expect a specific feeling and they don't, they'll think they're not feeling the Spirit and wonder why. Help them recognize what the Spirit feels like *to them.*

Something has been stirring here for a while. You can feel it in the replies. In the quiet DMs. In the way people show up for each other when no one is watching. This corner of X has become more than posts and timelines. It’s becoming a gathering place. So let’s name it. Let’s build it. Let’s invite the world into it. I’m building something intentional here. A space where faith is lived out loud, where testimony isn’t polished for approval, where questions are welcome, and where encouragement is the default. A place for people who love Jesus Christ and want to stand together without shouting each other down. Not influencers. Not algorithms. People. If you believe there’s room on X for conviction with kindness, truth with humility, and community that actually feels like community, this is for you. I’m calling it #SaintsOnX. Use it. Claim it. Rally under it. Post your testimony. Support each other. Show up in comment sections with light instead of heat. Be bold without being cruel. Be faithful without being performative. This doesn’t belong to me. It belongs to all of us who are tired of going it alone and ready to build something better together. Welcome to #SaintsOnX.
