@space4gosforth I looked up the stats for the other A19 junctions for the same time period: 15 collisions at (the updated) Silverlink 12 collisions at Killingworth Way 10 collisions at Holystone 9 collisions at Dudley Lane 28 collisions between Silverlink and Moor Farm, not at junctions.

"14 accidents at or close to the Moor Farm roundabout since the start of 2020." The equivalent figure for Gosforth High Street is 34 - over twice as many. Can we have £770m for an upgrade too?

@thomasforth NESO don't count biomass as zero carbon. Nor imports, as I guess the source of those probably isn't clear cut.

North Britain's electricity is much lower carbon than South Britain's electricity. Thanks to Nuclear and Renewables mostly. I believe that this is the typical pattern on Great Britain. electricityproduction.uk/regions/

@NFBUK @KiMcGuinness They do work. If you don’t float the bus stop you’re mixing buses and bikes, the biggest and smallest road users. Like any change to road layouts, it takes a short period for people to adapt. Where these have been used elsewhere they’re just part of the street fabric.

@KLRidz @seandrobson @SPACEforHeaton I wasn't, but the crossing in question is in the red circle, across the road clearly labelled 'Heaton Park View' on the map. Heaton Park Road is at the other end of Heaton Park View, running from the junction of Warwick St to Shields Road.

Be extra careful when using the pedestrian and cycling infrastructure at the end of Heaton Park View. The crossing has been rendered inoperable after being destroyed by somebody driving a car in to it.

@ceefaxisbetter It's something that should be introduced at the start of each Focus delivery I think.

I've invested a disproportionate amount of time pondering what my pose would be when introduced on the track before an Olympics final. Given the somewhat slim likelihood of such an event happening. 🤔
