Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba
I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film
As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes
It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions.
But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

If Israel wanted to carry out a precision strike on a journalist, it wouldn't have missed.
The strike clearly targeted the bridge, which the IDF warned would be struck to prevent Hezbollah from moving weapons and reinforcements to southern Lebanon.

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.

The media silence-You would think a crisis this size would be impossible to ignore.
Ukraine got daily maps, embedded journalists, celebrity statements and $100 billion in Western support in year one.
Sudan gets a 90 second segment every few months if we are lucky.
The outlets that would cover it are connected to Gulf money. The governments that could pressure the UAE are buying weapons from that same UAE. The UN passed resolutions. Nobody followed up on a single one.
The silence is not carelessness. It is a decision.
