@Dysputant2 @prinkasusa I think you are confusing fear with respect. Wolves are not particularly aggressive animals, and things like smell, manerisms and even the voice may make them fear some people more than others. However, this doesn't mean that you can't create a bond with them with time and care.

@prinkasusa ... I will hold my opinion of why wolfs could be more willing to not attack human female. But i agree testosterone for sure makes animals fear or respect man more. For example some species will ignore woman trying to make them move ect. But Man can make them follow.

@Christo72852186 @LadyBleach @ReviewsPossum She tried to, failed, is now completely dependant, in a wheelchair, and has to deal with terrible pain everyday. I'm sure the situation that led the parents to institutionalize her was not simple. But, her father hadn't been in her life for a long time, he has no right.

@LilFritz491 @horrormuseum Hyenas have really long birth canals, and it is extremely painful and has a high chance to kill the mother and child. So yeah, not great. Human childbirth is pretty bad as it is, we don't need longer birth canals.

@horrormuseum Aside the absolute criminality of this image, birthing a baby through the urethral AKA through the penis would be the most painful thing in the whole universe. It'd hurt a bazillion times more than a woman's childbirth.

@25mar20001 @Lyfesgood30 @realcountlustig @AB98pfc No youre just really fucking stupid. The US experiences higher humidity levels and more often than all of Europe. So by even your bullshit metric of "feels like" the US still "feels hotter/colder"

@ConsumerOfMon @Lyfesgood30 @realcountlustig @AB98pfc Using the highest and lowest temperature ever recorded to prove a point is stupid. You could look at mean or median values, but even that is not acurate. What's actually important is perceived temperature, so places with high humidity might have lower temps but feel much hotter

@Lyfesgood30 @realcountlustig @AB98pfc You dont understand, the US climate competes with the entirety of Europe. Europe's highest recorded temp comes from Itally, 119.8°F (48.8°C) and the lowest comes from Russia, -72.6°F (-58.1°C) The US highest recorded temps was 134.4°F (56.7°C) and -80°F (-62.2°C) for the lowest

@Mr_Husky1 Vigilante justice is making a comeback. The more the DNC pushes their DEI progressive DAs, judges, and police chiefs, society will devolve to self serving forms of justice The backlash against DNC's progressive law reform pushing pro criminals' welfare versus victims is here

In Brazil, a 48-year-old ice cream vendor abducted a 1-year-old baby girl from a floating boat where her mother had put her to sleep. He raped the toddler, murdered her, and dumped her tiny defenseless body in the river. When the horrific news spread, hundreds of outraged locals, including the baby’s mother, stormed the police station holding the suspect. They dragged the rapist out, beat him, doused him with gasoline, and burned him alive in the street. All captured live on social media.

@mahianyu2 @bellapromote @lady_valor_07 The idea is that it's more likely for them to get caught if they let witnesses live. And there is no legal incetive to do so if the consequences are the same. This is a criminalogical theory.

@VonGoner @jocelyn20036 @EvanLindal90 @BarackObama @NYCMayor Yes, around 14000 - 20000 years ago. Same with the other continents, with different timelines. I don't think this is the flex you think it is. In comparison, European contact with the continent was less than 550 years ago. Actual immigration to America from Europe is more recent

@slamgunner @goodforharriers @williameijer @HarmlessYardDog Alright, sure, I mean, I have nothing to prove, most the scientific community agree with what I am saying. I'm not saying it's useless, but it can't be used to determine someone's "intelligence" level as a whole, nor does it measure raw ability. Nothing exists in a vacuum

@25mar20001 @goodforharriers @williameijer @HarmlessYardDog strength is raw ability and you can increase it. Seems you're so quick to jump to the argumentation you learned that you tripped over what "ability" means. IQ's very reliable and has robust research behind it, online test won't change that. Not interested in further discussion.

Elite obfuscation. The reality is that high-IQ people (top line) learn faster than others. The same education doesn’t turn low-IQ people (bottom line) into smart people—they plateau around 5th grade

Education is "the most consistent, robust, and durable method yet to be identified for raising intelligence" (journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.117…), as has been demonstrated with a multitude of study designs, genetic/non-genetic analyses, and even lifelong data.

@slamgunner @goodforharriers @williameijer @HarmlessYardDog I think it can be a great tool, don't get me wrong. But do I think it measures overall intelligence, no. It measures something, for sure, but it's not universal and needs to be interpreted. Most of the scientific community agree with this assessment, I have nothing to prove.

@slamgunner @goodforharriers @williameijer @HarmlessYardDog If it truly was raw ability there would be no way to increase IQ, and there are many methods. But, that's besides the point. IQ tests are not all made equal, and they only test specific areas of cognition. It's not raw skill, and it's not universal.

@HomoEre14019193 @williameijer IQ is not genetic, it is man made. Inteligence may have a genetic component, but inteligence is much more than simply an IQ score. The IQ test in a man-made test that has had a lot of revisions to achieve "fair scoring". There's nothing natural about it.

@williameijer IQ is simply genetic. But this idea disgusts people. Homo sapiens is simply an animal, with biological determinants. No more, no less. And Nature is anything but fair. Nature is wicked.

@goodforharriers @williameijer @HarmlessYardDog The more able will find more success wherever they apply themselves, through ed or other. Opposite for the less able. They get less gain. AND, to add on top of that, they flat-line earlier. Big implication to me: education is no equalizer and not the cornerstone of ability.

@Maxim_Maskin @Zoya_ki_batein There is, I found this one where they did not find statistically significant results, but to be fair, the sample size is very small, if you are interested in the topic you could look at some metastudies that might have more complete information. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC64….
