U.S. Forces carried out a new round of strikes tonight against Southern Iran, a senior official tells Reuters, targeting a military site near Bandar Abbas that posed a threat to American troops and commercial traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, while also downing a number of drones launched from Iran.

ALERT: Man had to be rescued after getting stuck “in a crevice that was basically designed the exact shape of him" for over 6 hours.
Park rangers responded to a call around 6:30 PM about a man from Brooklyn, New York, who was cave exploring Merlin’s Cave in the town of Canaan with his friends when he got so stuck he couldn't move.
Rangers were able to reach the man at around 9 PM, and the temperature had dropped to 50 degrees and 100% hummidity.
DEC Forest Ranger Lt. John Gullen said, “There’s still three of his buddies, who were still with him, and they’re trying to get him out… At this point, they’ve been in the cave for many hours, so they are all hypothermic.”
Rescuers had to crawl 400 feet, which took 20 minutes, to reach the man stuck in what Gullen describes as “a crevice that was basically designed the exact shape of him.”
When they could not budge the man, rescuers went to retrieve a rock drill while Gullen stayed with him, telling jokes to keep him from freaking out.
Gullen stated that once rescuers got the drill, which took an hour and a half, it took less than 30 minutes to free the man.
“Once we were ere able to get to a point where we could high-five, we were high-fiving… It’s a feeling that I wish everyone could experience, ’cause there’s nothing like it.”

@gizzverse @EliteRageBait He’s saying just like most of those 1/10 are disingenuous, so are a lot of those 10/10s, either to counter the review bombing or blindly loving things on first sight instead of having a hate boner.
English

there are plenty of valid criticisms about the finale, but you can’t look at the sheer number of 1 star reviews and think it’s anything but review bombing. no one in their right mind genuinely thinks the finale was that bad

A Shot@ashotmagazine
The series finale of The Boys now holds a 5.8 rating on IMDb, one of the lowest rated finales of all time.
English

@WDCMorgy @ashotmagazine No, he should have lost exactly as he did, the problem is he didn’t put up a real fight, did not actually go postal. and there were no other supes with him protecting him or anything for that matter…6/10.
English

@ashotmagazine It's the dipshit losers who thought Homelander should've won.
English

@Quack_Attack_99 @EzhmaarSul @LookAtMyMeat1 That and the off screen killing of the trade minister was about as bad as the finale…
English

@EzhmaarSul @LookAtMyMeat1 I finished watching the show a month ago, and the fourth and final season was kinda rough... given that the show introduced a new faction led by Black communists (I am NOT joking).
English

@Hollerite @BattlestarBlair @Zarya03631822 @MrMediocrePass @LookAtMyMeat1 Was wondering what happened to Italy as a non-book reader since they were not mentioned once I believe in the entire show. It’s funny how the show also went down in quality after S2 too, makes perfect sense now.
English

@BattlestarBlair @Zarya03631822 @MrMediocrePass @LookAtMyMeat1 Ehh, they fully deplete book content by mid S2 and a lot of it is skipped. They badly simplify the geopolitics too, not adapting places like the Confederacy, the nazi mars program, Italy as a weaker third power, and many other things.
English

@kendrxcklamar 7 at best*
Personally rate it a 6, the conclusion is almost perfect but there is no real fight given, no supes other than main and Oh Father present, and tries to shove stories in that should’ve been in the previous episodes, had they not been promos for futures shows…
English

@DiscussingFilm The character endings are good but they feel rushed and undeserved, mostly because Homelander didn’t actually fully lose it and go on a rampage, and even then the fight in the Oval Office was filled with inconsistencies. Oh and the last season was just promos for future tv shows.
English

‘THE BOYS’ series finale gave almost every character a satisfying ending. So, why are fans so divided?
We try to find out why...

English

@stackattacker_ @RottenTomatoes Elaborate. Why can’t people that like it spam it with positive reviews to counteract the trolls since this is apparently such a common practice?
Zero people have ever thought to do that?

#TheBoys has remained Fresh for all five of its seasons - with a score of 93% on the Tomatometer: rottentomatoes.com/tv/the_boys_20…

On the first day of the Iran War, the Israeli Air Force carried out a strike on the Tehran home of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the former president of Iran known for his hard-line, anti-Israel and anti-American views, which was designed to free him from house arrest and place him in a position to take over the country following the elimination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Plans to place Ahmadinejad in power after the weakening of the current Iranian regime had been developed by the Israelis with the knowledge of the United States, and had been briefed to Ahmadinejad, though quickly went awry after the strike on his home, according to the U.S. officials who were briefed on the matter and spoke to The New York Times.
Ahmadinejad was accidentally injured in the Israeli strike on his home, which destroyed a security outpost at the entrance to his street and killed several members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that were holding him hostage, and though he survived, after the near miss he became disillusioned with the regime change plan and halted further communication with Israel. He has not been seen publicly since then and his current whereabouts and condition are unknown.

@sentdefender We really doing side quests on two different continents while we wait for the ceasefire to fall apart lmao

U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) has announced that American forces, in coordination with the Nigerian Army, carried out a series of targeted strikes Monday, May 18, 2026, against an ISIS fighter camp in Northeastern Nigeria. This is the second wave of strikes to be carried out against ISIS positions in Nigeria since last week’s operation by U.S. and Nigerian Special Forces, which resulted in the successful elimination of several ISIS leaders, including Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, ISIS’ Director of Global Operations.
English

@shailong134 @Bornakang This isnt his only one too, he’s been doing this on a lot of the other critical posts on IG and his story barely talks about episode 7, just posts about dogs (ironic if leaks are true)
English

@Ab83126691 @Osinttechnical This also makes sense too, no doubt a better approach to publicly deny it anyway
English

@AEM__74 @Osinttechnical NO, its to quell anger in their own people. An ave Emirati is not a bloodthirsty, genocide cheering lunatic. Hate for Isreal on the ground is real. Rumours of 1 Emirate looking to split also getting louder. Iran only hit back after it was attacked & struck Us bases used.
