It’s been a long time since I’ve shared anything about my tech journey or what I’m actually building. To be honest, I completely fell off from documenting my progress. I’d been posting my web dev journey here, but I hit a point where I just gave up on building in public.

Please, let’s stop deceiving ourselves with this “AI is only here to support you” talk. I’m speaking from experience. Yes, AI can make your work faster. But it is also here to replace parts of what people used to get paid for. Klarna said its AI assistant was doing the work of 700 customer service agents. Duolingo cut contractors because AI could help with translation and content work. IBM paused hiring for roles it said AI could replace over time. So this is no longer theory. Customer support is feeling it. Translators and writers are feeling it. Back-office workers are feeling it. Designers, developers, and video editors are feeling it too. AI is advancing every day. The question is not whether it will affect your job. It already is. The real question is: what will still make you valuable when AI can do most of the execution?

@Akintola_steve Never think anyone is unserious because they behave somehow. Everyone has different goals and different ways of chasing them. Myself as an example, i fool around so much and it's hard predict me. Plus some people already have the right connections😅

I still remember back in school there were people who barely attended classes and seemed completely uninterested in academics. Today, many of them are working at top companies like MTN, Airtel, and even US-based firms. I’m still trying to figure out what causes that sudden surge in motivation toward a career after graduation.
