@avfcbreaking @easyJet @British_Airways were just as bad trying not trying to get us back from Bologna on Friday. They thought it was acceptable to book me on a flight to get home on Sunday night. Their staff don’t understand the obligations placed on them by EU261 regulations

So finally going home today after my @easyJet escapades. Rebooked with Jet2. easyJet have so many questions to answer. How they can they cancel a midnight flight,then have NO ground crew come to assist? Airport gate staff not employed by easyJet instead had a pop up roller board with a QR code on it and told people to scan a code for help with hotels,that diverts you to their app to book the hotel they provide. No transport to get you to the hotel,instead airport staff put me,the wife and two kids on the public transport which was a 10 minute walk through the streets of Turkey in pitch black to a hotel which can only be compared to a Turkish Fawlty Towers. Breakfast choice was eggs and bread... And a few breadsticks! I had to move hotel at my own expense last night after the hotel they put us in knocked the door and said time to leave NOW now or we charge you 50 euros and have no where to go as the flight was not confirmed by that point and then decided to rebook my own flights and hotel,as the family were so tired Customer care team by phone and social media useless and live chat was even worse!. Then nearly got scammed on X with fake easyJet staff reaching out,but saw the scam coming a mile off. This all on top of the hotel and flights package who we booked using @OntheBeachUK being half closed for repair works. Other than that absolutely loved Turkey 😭 Now can't wait to get back home and watch Villa progress in Europe ✅
