Democrats already nuked the filibuster for nominations back in 2013 under Harry Reid — and Republicans didn’t get a ‘prize’ for restraint. We just confirmed better judges later because of it.
The system is broken — that’s exactly why we can’t keep playing by 60-vote rules that let a minority of obstructionists block the people’s mandate. Trump is right: fund the entire government, including full support for ICE and border security, and pass the SAVE America Act (proof of citizenship to register + photo ID to vote). Secure borders and secure elections shouldn’t be held hostage.
Killing the legislative filibuster now gives us the tools to deliver for voters while we hold the majority. Waiting for Democrats to regain power and finish the job? That’s not preserving the system — that’s surrendering it. Republicans were sent here to fix problems, not admire the broken rules.

🚨 We need a new Senate Leader!
John Thune ran like a coward from the fight.

It is time for the Senate Filibuster to END.

@GuntherEagleman Killing the filibuster may solve today’s problem but it weakens the system the next time power shift
English

Agreed — Homan is right, and so is President Trump.
He’s made it crystal clear to Thune and Johnson: Fund the entire government, no half-measures that shortchange ICE or Border Patrol while airports turn into chaos. No more caving to Democrat demands.
The one move that would truly obliterate the Democrats’ obstruction? Nuke the filibuster right now. Then Republicans can pass a clean funding bill and the SAVE America Act — proof of citizenship to register to vote + photo ID to cast a ballot. Secure elections and secure borders in one fell swoop.
This isn’t about shutdown theater. It’s about delivering on the America First mandate voters gave us. No more excuses from the Senate holdouts. Time to play hardball and get it done

Massachusetts voters passed the ‘millionaires tax’ on income over $1 million, and in the very next year (2023), residents who left the state took a net $4.2 billion in adjusted gross income with them—one of the largest outflows in the country. Top earners drove most of it.
That’s how liberals ‘fix’ budget problems: chase the wealthy (and the jobs/tax base they create) out of town with higher taxes. Then the rest of us get stuck with the bill.
Fixing old-school liberals is tough enough, but the brainwashed youth cheering this on? That’s just sad. Learn from the results, not the slogans. ‘Taxachusetts’ didn’t become a nickname by accident

Working families are leaving, costs are exploding, and Maura Healey shows up at a No Kings rally proving the Queen's priority is everyone but Massachusetts citizens.

@ShortsleeveMA Very little sympathy for Lexington Brian sorry! Pick a actual person that understands fiduciary responsibility just a thought !
English

Lexington is a warning sign.
Even after passing a property tax override, they’re still laying off teachers and making painful cuts because the math doesn’t work anymore.
Local aid has been stagnant for 20 years while costs keep rising. As governor, I’ll audit state government, cut the waste, and redirect $1 billion to unrestricted local aid so cities and towns don’t have to keep going back to taxpayers with override votes

Trump isn’t ‘acting like a king’—he won a free and fair election in November with the American people rejecting the failed policies of the past four years. That’s called democracy, not stealing it. The people already spoke.
As for you, calling yourself a Massachusetts voice while being in DC: what exactly have you delivered for our state? Sky-high housing costs, failing public schools in too many districts, crumbling infrastructure, businesses and families fleeing high taxes and crime in cities like Boston? Massachusetts deserves better than partisan rhetoric and protest marches that change nothing on the ground.
Trump’s agenda is already delivering results nationally—stronger borders, energy independence, economic growth that lifts working families. If you’re embarrassed by results over resistance, that’s on you. The ‘fight’ you’re in lost at the ballot box. Time to work for the people of Massachusetts instead of chasing headlines.
English

@WCVB She doesn’t convey my feelings on this matter at all. I believe in following the laws — sadly, our governor seems to think some laws are okay to break when it suits her.

@MassFiscal @DianaDiZoglio This is ridiculous , these are the lengths we have to go through to get the Will Of The People done ? Make it make sense
English

BIG development in the audit lawsuit.
Auditor @DianaDiZoglio confirms her latest case has been sent to the FULL bench of the MA Supreme Judicial Court.
All justices will now weigh whether she has the right to independent legal counsel as she pursues enforcing the audit law.
English

Massachusetts Supreme Court please full more liberals !
Chief Justice Kimberly S. Budd (Baker appointee, 2016/2020): Former prosecutor and Harvard grad. She’s pushed restorative justice and was part of unanimous rulings limiting cooperation with federal immigration detainers. Solid establishment moderate, not a firebrand for limited government.
• Frank M. Gaziano (Baker, 2016): Ex-prosecutor background. Generally seen as one of the more traditional members on criminal procedure, but still operates in Massachusetts’ overall left-leaning judicial culture.
• Scott L. Kafker (Baker, 2017): Former appeals court chief. Has written on state constitutional independence and shown some restraint in certain cases, but no strong conservative record.
• Dalila Argaez Wendlandt (Baker, 2020): Stanford Law, prior private practice and pro bono work (including asylum cases). Baker’s picks were often “smart moderates,” but the court as a whole trends toward broader rights interpretations.
• Serge Georges Jr. (Baker, 2020): Suffolk Law, diverse background. Limited public ideological markers, but fits the Baker moderate mold.
• Bessie (Elizabeth N.) Dewar (Healey, 2024): Yale Law, appointed by Democrat Gov. Maura Healey. This is the more explicitly progressive pick.
• Gabrielle R. Wolohojian (Healey, 2024): Columbia Law, another Healey appointee. Expected to lean left on social and regulatory issues.
Overall picture:
Massachusetts is one of the most liberal states, and its SJC ranks among the more liberal state supreme courts nationally

You’re all guilty. We’ve watched this shit show for years — it failed, and it’s time to clean house.
Every time one of you is asked about another politician, you start by telling us what a “good person” they are and how they’re “friends of the family.” Enough. We didn’t send you to Washington to join the good ol’ boys and girls club. I don’t care who your friends are — I’d actually prefer you had none in there. We want accountability, not backroom deals.
You don’t work that hard, yet everything gets done while we’re sleeping. You’re all on notice.
And Thune — your ouster starts now. Listening to that senile old man is going to destroy your career. Promise.
