I don't understand the left-wing outrage against the Bible verse on the MLB Pride hat.
It's not a verse about stoning gay people or anything. I'm no biblical scholar, but it appears to be a positive verse about... rainbows. Seems like a very Pride friendly Bible verse.
Plus, the players weren't forced to wear the Pride hats.
It's not like they refused to wear the hats and then counter-signaled Pride by writing anti-gay verses like "Leviticus 20:13" on them, as media headlines would have you believe. They chose to wear the Pride hats and wrote a complimentary verse about rainbows on them.

They can opt out, and the players that have opted out previously were still the subjects of viral outrage calling them a bigot.
This whole controversy is avoided if the league just continues to hold pride nights, and simply doesn’t ask the players to wear pride uniforms. Then the players are not put in a position where they feel like they need to make a statement about conflicts with their religious beliefs.
