used to be a cyclist, then I got a good job and couldn't quadruple my journey time anymore.

⚠️WARNING: This post describes a fatal crash. A teenager who killed a 74-year-old pensioner while joyriding in a client's £84,000 Nissan GTR has been jailed for four years. Lewis Meadows, 18 at the time, was driving the "particularly powerful" sports car, which he had taken without permission from his father's valet business in November last year. Witnesses saw Meadows driving "like a complete nutter" before he lost control on Church Road in Felixstowe, swerved onto the footpath, and smashed into Mary Kinsey, who was walking to the shops. She died at the hospital. Videos from Meadows' phone, played in court, showed him driving recklessly in other cars, revving engines, and shouting. Meadows pleaded guilty to causing the death of Mary. In a letter read to the court, he wrote: "It's all down to me. It's all my fault. My choices, my stupidity... I know I must be punished." The victim's husband, Ken Kinsey, said in a heartbreaking statement, "I miss her terribly every day. I come back to an empty house that used to feel like our home." The judge, Richard Kelly, told Meadows he was "deliberately trying to push this very powerful car's capabilities" in a residential street, driving it "like a toy." Meadows was also disqualified from driving for seven years. 🙏Please share to spread awareness ⚠️DISCLAIMER: The information shared is based on initial reports, may not be fully verified, and is presented as alleged.
