The idea that it is logistically impossible to remove 150,000 settlers from the deeper West Bank settlements is pure, distilled, 175% cope. 13 million Germans were ethnically cleansed out of Eastern Europe after World War II and basically no one cares today.

This is honestly pretty interesting. I'm a bit surprised Messi codes as left as this, because he in no way demonstrates he is left-wing But not surprised at all by Ronaldo, who is basically the world's most famous manosphere influencer.

Honestly, my old uni mate Jason from Seattle has been a brilliant tour guide and he and his wife have been absolutely wonderful hosts. I can’t thank them enough. Mind you after decades of friendship I still take the mickey out of him all the time…!

@river_is_nice I have a PhD in history (granted US history) and didn't know what this symbol was. It looked a bit sketch, but in the way that something like a punisher tattoo is. But I didn't know its name or that this was a Nazi thing at all prior to the controversy.

This issue didn’t move the polls at all because the average voter looks at this photo and says “Wait that’s a Nazi tattoo?” And then they immediately sympathize with Platner’s story about getting the tattoo drunk in his twenties because they feel they wouldn’t have known any better either.

The situation in Northern Ireland is shocking but maybe not that surprising. It reminds me of the 1974 riots, which were essentially a successful coup by Protestant paramilitaries against the power sharing agreement between Catholics and Protestants. theworldasitis.substack.com/p/the-1974-uls…
