To be honest, @GenLayer's testnet bradbury is unlike any testnet I've seen. validators don't just run nodes. they choose and optimize their own LLMs, route different models to different tasks, and compete on decision quality. the team calls it a "scholar's gym" and that's exactly what it feels like. key things that stand out: greyboxing lets validators intercept and filter inputs before the Ai even sees them. model routing means you can use a lightweight model for routine tasks and bring in a frontier model for high stakes disputes. multi round appeals simulate real dispute resolution. and adversarial testing actively tries to break the system. rewards are performance based. - align with the majority and optimize well, you earn. - underperform consistently, you lose. this isn't passive staking. genLayer is explicitly targeting professional validators and AI/ML people first. Let me break down where every token goes > Ecosystem - 40% (400M tokens) The biggest slice and it should be. This funds developers, dApps, and builders on the network. Only 10% unlocks at TGE. The rest releases linearly over 60 months. > Foundation - 15% (150M tokens) The operational treasury. Grants, partnerships, development. 33% unlocks at TGE, the rest vests over 48 months. > Core Contributors - 15% (150M tokens) Zero tokens at launch. Zero. 12-month cliff. Then 36 months of linear vesting. The team can’t touch a single token until the project has been live for a full year. That’s real alignment. > Investors + Advisors - 10% (100M tokens) Same exact cliff as the team And only 10% to VCs/advisors total. This is not a VC-heavy cap table. Early backers earn their tokens by helping long-term, not dumping at TGE. > Staking Rewards - 10% (100M tokens) Zero at TGE. Releases linearly over 96 months Staking inflation is slow, controlled, and sustainable. > Liquidity + Launch - 6% (60M tokens) Fully unlocked at TGE, but it’s only 6%. Just enough to bootstrap real liquidity on day one. > Airdrop - 4% (40M tokens) Fully unlocked at TGE. Goes straight to the community. Small enough it won’t nuke the price. Big enough to actually matter and reward early adopters. Perfect ratio. The big picture: At TGE, only ~14% of total supply actually hits the market. Team and investors face the same lockups no preferential treatment. The largest bucket (ecosystem) is explicitly for growth, not insiders. Inflation is spread over years, not months.
