After taking a step back last year, many of the Bitcoin adoption initiatives in Suriname came to a halt. The @BitcoinSranan monthly meetup continued, but we had to close the education center, let the team go, and end the food kitchen donations to orphanages in September. It wasn’t an easy decision, but sometimes building something real means knowing when to pause, regroup, and protect the long-term mission. Over the past few months I’ve slowly started picking things up again, rebuilding, reconnecting, and laying the groundwork for the next phase. The vision hasn’t changed: a future where Bitcoin empowers people here with real financial sovereignty and opportunity. Soon we’ll be sharing more. Starting with new additions to the @srdecentralized team and the launch of a year round program to continue the work of education, adoption, and community building. We’re just getting started again. 🧡🇸🇷

I also apparently have to get my wisdom teeth removed…. I feel very confident in doing that with Aura Holistic Dental Clinic. 😇 Enjoy the view! 😁
