Nope, you miss my point. Of course that is the general area, what the church did there is to say THIS is the exact spot, THIS is the exact rock, and there is simply no way to know that. Yes, Golgatha is the place, but no one knows the EXACT spot. The RC Church has made an idol out of a rock.

(2 Corinthians 5:8) If that is not true, then Jesus lied to the thief. But another consideration for you is that eternity is timeless, there are no days, so what appears to us as three days was no days in eternity. Remember, the concept of linear time is only for us on Earth, its principals don't apply in eternity.

When will you all learn that nobody "killed" Jesus...He GAVE His life to redeem us from the penalty of our violations of His laws. I see we are arguing the responsibility of who killed Christ on Easter. How very social media. The mob, stirred up by the chief priests and elders, demanded crucifixion in exchange for Barabbas the thief, and finally Pilate washed his hands of it. The high priests facilitated the death of Christ. Fact. The Romans carried it out by law. Fact. The pitchfork mob, insisted on all of it, cheered it on, and mocked Him. Fact, It was a dark day, no one wants “their team” to be responsible for killing the Son of God, however it was also predestined that Jesus die to atone for the sins of believers so that we may have eternal life. Today we celebrate Easter and because everyone, Jew and gentile, played their role, He is Risen.
