There’s a large building down my street in Miami that I walk by that always has one, sometimes two, armed guards in full bulletproof body armor standing outside it. Supposedly, whomever the child looks at first, means you love them the most. She said “I woke up and decided to hurt my own feelings today.”😢 From a psychological standpoint, to me, having both parents immediately look at you triggers a fear you did something wrong and kids naturally look to the authoritative figure to determine if they’re in trouble.
