For context above is Ron Fouchier addressing his own list of reasons SC2 *could have* a non-animal origin: (ie. lab leak)
His argument above that FCS can rise naturally is not supported by the 800 or so sarbecovs, none of which have an FCS.
His list is useful though

I have just found out that Proximal Origin is listed in 'Unreliable' (Csaba Szabo, Columbia University Press) as a recent example of a biased review article.

@ban_epp_gofroc Dr. "dispositive" Worobey is a legend (singlehandedly debunking a Wuhan "lab leak" using only an AZ laptop). Whereas Drosten's training is primarily in Hematology &Medicine so I suppose he'll be accused of sticking his nose where it doesn't belong, into modern molecular virology?
