I bought some old cards today at a thrift store, knowing no cards of value would be in there. But, alas… these were in there. Baseball trivia - how many brothers made it to the majors (minors included) and how many of them both played at the highest level? On two different occasions, when the runner rounded third base to come home, the catcher not only crowded the plate but also stuck out her elbow as the runner crossed home plate. One of the shadiest actions I’ve seen in a long time. After the second one, next time I would be coming through that baseline and spearing that catcher into a wheelchair.

@Trellraiser @EddieTrunk Trelly is right. I was at this show, and the only reason it was sold out is Bruce said ahead of time he was going to cover a Prince song after playing 25 of his own non-hits that nobody remembers.

I will never understand why artists with huge deep catalogs do cover songs live. I get it’s cool / different for them. But if I’m going to see an act with a deep big catalog I love I want to hear their songs. Unless they had a hit with that cover. Then I get it. IMO

@EddieTrunk This is an easy one, Eddie. Springsteen hasn’t had a hit in 35 yrs and the only one people remember is Born in the USA. This is his only way to connect with new generations — to steal some shine from a more relevant artist. Except it’s not working anymore. He’s cooked.

@EddieTrunk From a guy who's career is now mostly based on ass kissing artists at the tail end of the career (how many interviews of Ace Frehley did we really need?), I don't think questioning what any artist plays at a show in is your lane. And Bruce has been doing live covers since day 1.

BTW Bruce has only played it 4x. 3x after Price died & this. LA Guns play this regularly at their shows since.
