@ChrisPottrell @MikeyCycling @MaryThePunkS Several reasons, first off the government know they will be losing tax revenue as more and more EVs hit the roads , secondly EVs polute heavily during manufacture, some electric is still generated by polluting means and EVs still damage infrastructure.

I bought a Metaquest 3 as a little surprise for the kids at Christmas. I didn’t tell my wife, as I knew she’d veto it. We’ve never had a games console at home - we’ve always agreed that the kids have outdoor space and need to spend their free time out there whenever possible. However….I got tempted. I can honestly say, as someone who was something of a gaming addict in the 90s, in the days of Quake, Half Life, Unreal, Tribes (the best of all) - this piece of kit is astonishing to me. Even, ‘she who must be obeyed’ - who detests gaming, fights for her go. 😂 l’m going to look at some Meta stock now. If the numbers add up & the price is right, I’m in.
