@TracyA1303 @Simply_Shula Again, only if you go to Moscow and maybe Saint Petersburg. And lack of drugged out murderers? Are you serious? The murder rate in Russia is higher than in the US and is quite famous for random drunk people stabbing/shooting random other people. Again, not in Moscow.

@Simply_Shula Maybe so. She’s going on cleanliness, lack of drugged out murderers and visible filth on the streets perhaps. Comparing one subway to another - Russia is way ahead 🤷‍♀️

@Ideoprax @BorisJohnson Then why doesn't Putin agree to the standing offer of a ceasefire but keeps pushing his people into the meat grinder in senseless offensive infiltration tactics?

Not a serious tweet, surely? Putin isn't trying to conquer Ukraine. He's got Donbas. He's had Donabas since March '22. He only ever wanted Donbas. The front line hasn't moved since. As Ukraine bleeds itself white and the West poor, trying to cling on to a piece of land nobody in Ukraine is willing to fight, let alone die for. Let it go.

Putin is behaving with the desperate barbarism of a man who is going to lose. He will never conquer Ukraine. He needs to admit that to himself - and save many thousands of lives on both sides.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський@ZelenskyyUa

More than 500 personnel of the State Emergency Service have been involved in dealing with the aftermath of Russia’s overnight attack on our cities and communities. The main strike was on Kyiv, where dozens of residential buildings and other purely civilian infrastructure were damaged again. Tragically, four people have been reported killed. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. At this moment, 38 people are in hospitals in the capital, and all of them are receiving the necessary care. In Dnipro, a search and rescue operation is ongoing at the site of a four-story apartment building. Part of the building was essentially demolished. Nine people were killed in this attack, including a child. Thirty-five people were injured in the city. The fate of six more people remains unknown. The search for them will continue for as long as necessary. The Russians also struck energy facilities in the Kharkiv region and critical infrastructure in Kharkiv. Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions also came under attack. In total, overnight Russia launched 656 attack drones and 73 missiles of various types at our people – ballistic, cruise, and anti-ship missiles. A large-scale attack and an absolutely clear statement from Russia: if Ukraine is not protected from ballistic and other missile strikes, these attacks will continue. Europe needs its own anti-ballistic defense so that this war can finally be brought to an end. And assistance from the United States in supplying missiles for Patriot systems is absolutely necessary. We are counting on the support of our partners and on effective responses to today’s attack. And I thank all Ukrainian men and women for not ignoring air raid alerts. Glory to Ukraine!

@Nate_VVilson @ZelenskyyUa And it also doesn't make a difference for the Ukrainians, as Russia doesn't retaliate. It bombs Ukrainian civilians regardless of whether Ukraine destroys their oil or not, as they have done right from day 1. So they might as well take down their oil economy.

@Nate_VVilson @ZelenskyyUa Ukraine is the one with a standing offer for an immediate ceasefire along the current frontlines and further negotiations. Guess who is constantly declining to even talk? So long as Russia doesn't want to make peace, its oil industry will be blown up.

Overnight, our warriors applied Ukraine’s long-range sanctions against an oil refinery in Russia’s Saratov – about 700 kilometers from the frontline. An important result. Thank you! There were also strikes in the Rostov and Kirov regions, as well as at a military base on the Caspian Sea coast. Our Defense Forces of Ukraine are carrying out long-range missions in line with the approved priorities of the plan for such sanctions. This week, targets were also reached in the Yaroslavl, Ryazan, Voronezh, Volgograd, Rostov, Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod and Krasnodar regions at distances ranging from 300 to 1,200 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, our intelligence agencies – thank you!

This war is useless for both sides. Stop this damn war. The most important thing is the prosperity and development of Ukraine,,, let Ukraine be a neutral country neither with the West nor with the East..Let peace be the master of the situation between the two parties respected in sovereignty and interests.

@FrankfurtZack @LiberalMut Nein.

@Frid45 That would also enable Amsterdam - Copenhagen in 7:30h, which would make sense for the 1st time. Nobody would ever use this connection if it takes 9:30h. Could be a lot faster ofc, but then the Netherlands and Germany would need to do their homework on HSR.

@Tricky_1984 @therealmissjo Why would the EU put in such a system? It would only hurt their airports, while EU citizens are not affected anyway. While would they willingly start transferring money from European companies to people outside the EU? The UK can just rejoin if they want to avoid that.

@therealmissjo The Uk should pass a law that if you miss a flight due to airport delays then the airport is liable & pressure the EU to do the same this would stop people getting screwed over there should be a maximum limit for you to clear security and passport control it should be 1 hour nax

Gran Canaria passport control/immigration this weekend for those who don’t live in the EU. This is not about Brexit per se although you will find many who blame it. There are simply many non-Schengen (mainly non-EU) citizens arriving at the same time. Especially given the €395 million invested that has resulted in hundreds of machines not even working. The EU should suspend this system for the summer otherwise many nationalities will face longer and longer queues. Greece has already abandoned it. Others need to follow.
