Been working on figuring out the Perfect Order format, and one of the interesting things I have found is that Dragapult ex is powerful, but overrated. Budew is a weaker card due to the printing of Poke Pad, allowing decks to have a strong enough turn one to handle item lock.

@AA3779616323222 @Ian__Robb Ogerpon is dominating the Japanese tournaments, and so is Kang and I would say both of those are fairly comparabl to Lucario and Pult Zoroark and Mysterious Garden have seen less play but I know that Zoroark is still respectable and Psychic decks seem solid despite low usage

@Ian__Robb I’ve found pult and Lucario pretty miserable as every random deck out there is engineered to beat those two specifically. Problem is… they’re the only two decks with draw power and the draw supporters are giga buns

alakazam is actually a difficult deck to pilot bc you'll have like 30+ cards in hand, and that makes it difficult to analyze what cards you have to play each turn within an appropriate amount of time

The fundamental difference between Pokémon's and MTG's resource systems is that card-draw doesn't require energy, but it does require mana. If you don't have energy, you can use Supporter cards to find them. If you don't have mana, you can't use most draw/search effects.

Die Ressourcen reichen dafür nicht aus, und das will auch keiner finanzieren, warum sollte man das überhaupt

@omni_joe I love this deck and it does have good matchups but with lucario being everywhere it's not really viable.

I am simply saying that it is not as simple as Clef into boardwipe as you’re saying. As for Full Grip, i have no data on it

@EmboarAdvocate @OliverS_1225 @IppoDR Thats crazy that the highest placing pult literally had clefairy in it and Austin Charles just won the full grip 6k with Clefairy in pult, with the rest in top 8 also implementing it (iirc).

So now that we can all agree Mega Lucario is fraudulent for Post Rotation, here's what I should've played for the FG 6k but got worried about an influx of Lucario. Masterclass coming to discord community members this weekend! Kanga Bouff lives on!
