Been tinkering a bit with Lokix/Pearl. Not a really a meta contender as it's currently scooping to Pult/Munki. Been impressed by how consistently it outraces most linear decks in the format. Maybe next set there's space for Patrat&Rabsca. Some other walls are also considerations.

Arbolvia ex is a really interesting deck. Arbolvia turn two, going first allows you to shut down any stage 2 deck's setup as long as they don't have Shaymin. I think that this deck will be a top contender as long as Moltres doesn't get overwhelmingly popular

It's such a core aspect that it's probably part of the game's engine. Making some big assumptions about their codebase but they're definitely not remaking it for every new game.

@Ian__Robb Nah pult still stays S-tier simply because it’s only of the few decks that have good draw power. The main thing I’m finding with all of these decks is the draw power feels so limited with Iono, nest ball, etc gone. 4lilis doesn’t feel like enough. Pult and N’s on top

Been working on figuring out the Perfect Order format, and one of the interesting things I have found is that Dragapult ex is powerful, but overrated. Budew is a weaker card due to the printing of Poke Pad, allowing decks to have a strong enough turn one to handle item lock.

@whoa_cringe Morty's is way better, being able to keep your hand and continue drawing is more valuable than it was and this will definitely show whos a novice at the game

And when the world needed them most… they vanished 😭😢 (Copycat would actually see play right now in standard with how few good draw supporters there are)

Alakazam winning Champions League isn't that surprising to me. With most decks only relying on Unfair Stamp as their disruption card, putting an early Genesect in play makes it so that you are immune to hand disruption, which makes the deck difficult to beat.

@NginTCG @pokedansong Ive refused to pull up to any locals simply bc event locator wont tell you whether prizing is worth the drive or not, only 1 LGS in SD was able to answer that over the phone and it was R&S, there a way to tell with the other ones or do we gotta just show up and pray -_-
