No arrests have been made as yet after two men were shot dead in Ormonde, Johannesburg, this week. Shaheed Abdul Hamid Moosa and Hafidh Yusuf Modan, were shot and killed during a brazen cash robbery on Thursday. The pair were escorting a large cash consignment when they were ambushed by suspects travelling in multiple high-end vehicles. Reports indicate a high-speed chase began on the M1 highway before the attackers forced the convoy to stop on Crownwood Road, leading to a shootout. One security guard was seriously injured, while one suspect was killed and another wounded. The assailants fled the scene with bags of cash.
