I didn’t expect this but Americans are ridiculously good at small talk. In the UK if a stranger starts chatting to you, you immediately assume they want something or want to rob you. Here people are just… nice?

Am I the only native Scot who finds the whole drunken Tartan Army in ill-fitting kilts, traffic cones on statues, baldy-heided politicians in Scotland tops, a bit embarrassing? Are we content that the country of Adam Smith, David Livingston etc should be portrayed this way? 😳🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Why are they like this

A plurality of English fans will be wishing Scotland well as a home nation this World Cup. The same unfortunately absolutely cannot be said for Scottish fans.
