What is the contribution of GCC Arabs to human civilization, since they became oil-rich? How many scientists? What life-saving drugs and treatments? Which technological innovations? Works of art? Literature? Things that the world couldn’t do without? Plenty of those from other Arabs: Egyptians, Iraqis, Lebanese, Palestinians, etc. Not talking about non-Arabs living in those countries. Not talking about other Arabs living there either. Native Arabs from GCC. Those living in foreign countries count. I repeatedly see them talk about the wisdom and statecraft of their rulers, but all I see a consumption culture that has had no impact on humanity, other than increasing the methane gas.

At a minimum, they may attend around three dawats a month, where they can easily consume 200 grams of meat at each gathering. That amounts to 600 grams per month and 7.2 kilograms per year at the bare minimum. Mo Indian Muslim household gives a DAWAT without intending to serve meat-based dishes; it is considered a dishonour and a source of collective shame for them. This "extra and unaccounted-for Indian Muslim meat consumption" alone is 1.8 times the amount of meat that Hindus consume annually. Meanwhile Hindus feats are like: Poori Sabzi, Aloo Matar Ki Kachori, Poha - all other vegetarian slops.
