Given that over the next 60 days, Iran will make up to $10 billion with Trump's oil sanctions waivers, it means we allowed Iran to make $116 million today. How embarrassing.

Trump is right that America needs to win the quantum computing race. But we have to be INCREDIBLY careful how much of this power we give to the government. Once that tech is unleashed, national secrets, bank accounts, and everything with a digital lock on it will become accessible overnight. And when combined with government ownership of AI, this provides the tools for a totalitarian state unlike anything we have ever seen. AI doesn't sit downstream of your life like a railroad or a bank. It sits upstream of your thoughts. If the state owns the tool that drafts your emails, answers your questions, and frames your choices, they don't need to censor you. The system will just groom you to never ask the question in the first place. We cannot give the government control over the tools we use to form our own minds. Because one day, someone will use them.

They’re petulant children and the administration is treating them as so. Iran wants their toys and just like any nine-year-old they will not listen when you say no. But when you use resilience and discipline eventually, you can get the child to change their ways. You don’t walk away from a child because then they think they can just do it again.

As the administration grew increasingly desperate for a deal over the Strait of Hormuz, it lost sight of the power the United States holds. When the Iranian regime says, "we don't have a deal unless Lebanon is included as well," the answer should be, "Lebanon is off the table. You're already getting sanctions relief and unfrozen assets." And if the regime doesn't like it then WALK AWAY. They will come back begging.

It’s patience of a true leader. When your child does something wrong, you don’t beat the shit out of them. You calmly sit them down and tell them how things are gonna be, and when they continue to break the rules, use patience, strength, and leadership to redirect them back to what’s right. We are dealing with petulant children in the Middle East and it takes a level head and patience to correct the error of their ways and bring them back into a civilized society.

BREAKING: Iran's chief negotiator Ghalibaf has finalized the immediate release of $12 billion in frozen Iranian assets during the Switzerland talks, with Deputy FM Gharibabadi saying implementation is now urgently underway, per Tasnim. This directly contradicts VP Vance's new claim that "no money is being released to Iran." Iran also refused to use the unfrozen funds to buy US agricultural products, saying Iran has "no obligation to buy agricultural products from the United States" under the existing agreement, rejecting Vance and Jared Kushner's framework requiring Iran to do so.

I think it is important we consider this might be true, considering the Iranians were telling the truth about what was in the MOU while the White House team kept denying it.
