Today, I spoke at our 5th #APRMyouth Symposium, emphasizing that business as usual is over. - The APRM leads by example, aiming to adopt a resolution for greater youth representation in all its national and continental structures. - This Symposium is the key initial consultation for the 2027 Africa Governance Report on "Youth in Governance." - Youth must actively promote peace, prioritize dialogue, and defend constitutional order. - Gen Z is no longer content with being called "the future". Across the continent, they are leading in boardrooms, parliaments, and on digital platforms. • ​This digital generation is showing the world what civic innovation looks like, from building apps that fight corruption to creating new economies. - Remember: Prosperity is governed into being, not inherited. Governance ignoring youth realities cannot deliver the Africa we want. Change must happen now! #YouthInGovernance #APRMyouth
