@JREEEEE9 @mcuban I’ve never seen that behavior in any kind of government run entity. the burden of proof is on you to show those things to be true in government driven and tax payer funded endeavors. And that works for 330+ million people.

I have an idea for you. Get a bunch of Dem donors to buy or lease or take over a small hospital. Plenty are close to going out of business. Have it charge ONLY MEDICARE RATES. For everything. Be completely transparent with every penny you spend so everyone can see what it truly costs to run a small hospital. See if you can make it work. See what services you can offer. Do not ask for any government subsidies. It has to operate at least to break even. There are some hospitals that already do this. It wouldn’t be unique. If it works out, you can buy another one. Then another one. Till you have a network. I’ll help where I can. And for those asking the inevitable, I have tried. As I posted earlier, they all ghosted me after learning how transparent I wanted to be.

Mark, I appreciate your thoughtful and sincere approach on. Are you familiar with Alison Galvani work at Yale. She shows that extending Medicare to 55 is not that expensive. It would save costs because Medicare has lower administrative costs. People aged 55-64 some of the most expensive in private market and you would reduce spending on them. You also need Medicare to have more leverage to negotiate for drug prices --something you have led on. Yes, there is a cost but having progressive taxation to pay for it means that working and middle class Americans would be paying less than on their premiums and employers would be paying less than they would premiums. You eliminate a lit of the middlemen costs like hospital facility fees, private insurance executive cost, administrative and advertising costs, high mark up on drugs etc. Do you agree that a single payer system would be better for costs? Are you open to expanding Medicare? What would it take to get you on board? If you made the case and on the administration, it would help!

The alleged RINGLEADER of the failed terror attack targeting UFC Freedom 250 is an ILLEGAL ALIEN. Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez, from Mexico, planned, organized, and directed the planned attack. He was arrested by the @FBI on June 14, and @ICEgov has lodged a detainer against him. Alvarez FAILED to leave the country when his B2 tourist visa expired in 2001. He was granted DACA by the Obama administration. This illegal alien should NEVER have been allowed in our country — and we will ensure he faces justice and is swiftly removed from our nation.

The terror plot targeting UFC Freedom 250 at the White House was allegedly led by an illegal immigrant, according to DHS. Officials say Mexican national Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez was arrested by the FBI in Omaha on the day of the event before ICE lodged a detainer against him. The administration says Alvarez was the ringleader of the failed attack and will face justice before being deported from the U.S. Alvarez came to the United States as a child and was granted deportation relief through DACA by the Obama administration in 2014 after he failed to leave the country when his B2 visa expired in 2001.

.@SECWAR “As President Trump put it, he gave our allies a test—to support America when we asked for their help—and too many failed it. The United States has defended Europe for GENERATIONS, and all the President said was that our jets need to take off from bases in Europe or our ships from ports to strike targets in the Middle East... Too many of our allies said no or tried to drown us in arcane legal debates, or criticized us publicly for doing what they aren’t prepared or able to do themselves—IT WAS SHAMEFUL."

I think it's possible that james carville is right about trump resigning. donald trump hates being president, he just likes the attention and the perks. He doesn't care about america and doesn't want to do the work. He ran for his second term to avoid prison and steal money, and he's done both. He's stolen A LOT of money. The democrats will likely eliminate the republican majority in the midterms, and trump would either have to govern or just be a lame duck that everyone is waiting for the clock to run out on. He'd much rather take his corruption money and escape to florida. Or, if they start racking up charges again that he can't escape, flee to somewhere in the middle east that he made corrupt dealings with.

James Carville on Trump: “I genuinely think he will resign next spring. You can look at him and see how fat and unhealthy he is. The entire world around him is going to change after November. I think the son of a bitch is just going to walk away because of the pain that is coming to him”

"43 countries worldwide do not provide free or universal healthcare to at least 90% of their citizens. According to Hudson’s Global Residence Index, out of 195 total countries, 152 nations offer universal healthcare to the vast majority of their population. This statistic is corroborated by WHO and CEOWORLD data, which indicate that as of 2025, 73 countries have achieved Universal Health Coverage (UHC), covering approximately 69 percent of the global population. Notable exceptions: The United States is the only highly developed, industrialized nation without a universal healthcare system. Other significant holdouts: Major populous countries such as China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Bangladesh also lack comprehensive universal coverage, though many are in transition phases with varying degrees of public insurance schemes." My bad. There are 43. And that's with the most stringent definition of "universal" applied. But hey, we get to be on par with bangladesh.

@JREEEEE9 @mcuban You want Universal Healthcare, but you'd prefer chucking the entire current system in favor of it instead of proving whether or not it works first.

Dear Joe, I wish I could sit down with you face to face and explain why so many of us were offended by the UFC fight on the South Lawn of the White House. For me, it had nothing to do with the UFC or who showed up for the fights. The brand you and Dana have built is a bona fide American success story. More power to you. As for the fighters, in my book, anyone brave enough to put it all on the line in the arena is remarkable to witness. Their dedication and discipline inspire me. I don’t understand anyone who can’t admire that. And as for the people who attended, I, for one, love Shane Gillis. I think he’s hilarious and brilliant. It was a show. A once-in-a-lifetime spectacle. I can’t blame anyone for wanting to witness it firsthand. My problem is that I believe some of our public spaces are sacred. And unlike many of the great powers that came before us, these American monuments belong to all of us. Not to whoever happens to hold power at the moment. The White House does not belong to Donald Trump. It does not belong to any President. It belongs to the people. To treat it as Caesar treated the Colosseum is antithetical to everything our founding fathers fought for. This is not Rome. Presidents are not emperors doling out bread and circuses for the peasants. The White House is the People’s House. This “celebration” could have happened in any stadium within a stone’s throw of the South Lawn. No one would have had an issue with it. But that was obviously Donald Trump’s whole point. By holding the event on the South Lawn, what he was saying to the rest of us is: “This is my house. I own it. I will do with it what I please. I’ll build a colosseum and have the gladiators fight under my gaze. I’ll tear down the East Wing. I’ll pave over the Rose Garden. I’ll cover everything in gold and marble. I’ll erase the names of all the men who came before me.” The fights were an exhibition of imperial domination, not a celebration of our 250th anniversary as a democracy. The White House is not Buckingham Palace. It is not the Palace of Versailles. It is not the Forbidden City of Beijing. It does not belong to an emperor, or a king, or a commissar. The White House belongs to us. All of us. The person who sits behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office is nothing more than an honored guest. A temporary caretaker. The President is our servant. Not our Caesar. Respectfully, Hunter P.S. Cage match between me and Don Jr.? Your call on the venue. Anywhere but the South Lawn.

Thanks, @HunterBiden, for this testament to chutzpah. And when it comes to lecturing the American people on what is proper and dignified, I can think of no one better than you, my friend, our self-appointed resident Letitia Baldrige avatar and authority on the leggiadrous. You, sir, a man who always maintained the highest level of convenance and honor. And when it came to maintaining the dignity and decorum of the White House, no one did it better than your Pop, Commander Autopen. A man who frightened any American with a working synapse when he was caught in one of his rare escapee moments when not narcotized and shackled to a radiator in a remote root cellar in Wilmington, shuffling about, muttering "Who ordered the veal cutlet?" And who could or will be able to forget the nightmare of June 2023 when he turned the People's House into a makeshift reenactment of an LES 80s leather bar and backdrop for "Cruising II: Turn Your Head and Cough"? The spectacle still inspires nightmares. Only an administration completely out of touch and out of its mind would countenance such vile degeneracy. And you, good sir, have the elephantine huevos to lecture @joerogan about decorum?! Look, I admired your candor when you appeared with @RealCandaceO and wish you complete and total peace and uninterrupted recovery. But the next time you dare lecture @POTUS on the finer points of seemliness, might I suggest instead that you return to your finger painting and not immediately squander the good will you've cobbled together and your new trajectory toward reclaiming self-respect.

NATO was set up as a way for america to have control over a sphere of influence to combat a growing russian sphere of influence. If trump and hegseth want europe to step up and "take the lead", that's all fair enough. But then they have to cede control over that sphere of influence and simply be an equal partner. You can't have it both ways.
