Close to the other side of insanity - rates an individual by their level of revolt.

Palestinian-British Haitham al-Haddad is an advisor to the Islamic Sharia Council. His works include "the scourge of homosexuality," which he calls a “criminal act”. On women, he declared that “a man should not be questioned why he hit his wife." On the Israel🇮🇱 & America's 🇺🇸attack on the IRGC he muses, @grok tells me he believes it is "escalatory, reckless, & part of a broader effort by the US & Israel to dominate the Middle East." In the video from 26 Feb this year in Barking he says “Only the Muslim ummah (international brotherhood of Muslims) can stand for justice.” Muslims need to be a “superpower”. “The only nation that is really qualified to lead humanity and to be a superpower that is not going to commit injustice and oppression is the Muslim ummah." Why is he here in the UK?

@AlboMP @Tony_Burke @PaulineHansonOz Tony Burke threatened and a scuffle breaks out amid cries of "Allahu Akhbar".

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.

I will not be silenced. Labour are only demonstrating that they cannot see right from wrong. They will not stand up for our way of life. But we will.

Warmest wishes to Muslims who are marking the end of Ramadan across the UK and around the world. May your Eid‑al‑Fitr be joyful and full of peace. Eid Mubarak.
