@chatgpt21 On the other hand, poor quality input will lead to poor quality output. The input needs to be a dialogue, a conversation to help clarify meaning and quality of output. This is actually what humans do too. That is the barrier of AGI.

Former OpenAI Research Lead Jerry Tworek drops a hard truth on why we aren't at AGI yet 🧠 "The biggest limitation of models today is that if they fail, you get kind of hopeless pretty quickly." He argues that current AI lacks the fundamental trait of true intelligence: Resilience. "Intelligence always finds a way. Intelligence works at a problem and probes it until it solves it." Until models can "get unstuck" and self-correct without human hand-holding, it’s not AGI. I fully agree with him as well. If you use moltbolt you can find it doesn’t have a tendency to seek out a broader solution over and over until it solves the issue. Claude code has this trait. But for now the agents appear to be caveman like in that they need constant supervision and guidance rendering the productivity gains useless, but still cool!

This is absolutely unacceptable. Our colleagues must absolutely be protected from the continuing relentless pressures, reductions in quality of life and training pathways that drive them way out of reach of their support networks. We cannot keep asking our medics to be put at risk whilst expecting them to save lives. This absolutely must be prioritised. @DHSCgovuk @NHSEngland

According to some estimates, one doctor dies by suicide every day in the US, and around one every 10 days in the UK. All doctors must have access to early intervention and confidential treatment services, say @ClareGerada and colleagues bmj.com/content/386/bm…

@ChrisMinnsMP What a breath of fresh air you are Chris Minns! To have the politically selfless high road (or rail in this instance) with integrity and respect. The typical approach to these achievements is to claim you did the entire thing on your own. Your genuine truth telling is awesome.

And of course, I want to pay tribute to former Premiers Mike Baird, Gladys Berejiklian, and Dominic Perrottet who were integral to getting this project on the road.

It's not every day you see this many Premiers from different parties gathered together in support of one cause. Today was a historic moment for NSW as we celebrate the official open day of the brand new Metro. And mark more than 1 million passengers during its first five days.

Economics isn't the most important field of study. But it *is* important. It's essentially 'applied psychology', and explains how our modern world works. That fewer kids - and so few girls, in total and by proportion - are studying it, is a problem. smh.com.au/national/nsw/m…

Today I stumbled into a convo about PAs It’s quite something to stand, dead behind the eyes, listening to Australian doctors talk about how the plan for PAs will be great as they’ll have ward assistants They’re doomed.

People who MAKE vaping products just want to make more $ People who SELL Vaping products just want to make more $ They want to addict more kids to nicotine & vaping This research clearly makes a lie of the proposition that vaping is only about helping addicted smokers to quit

@simongerman600 This is a big issue in Western societies. We need to foster more inter generational living much Ike a traditional tribe. The current structure is detrimental to all of us.

This isn't my subject area, but at a glance this seems the most extraordinary decision. We've a shortage of doctors, a problem with retention. So a genuine question, what is the logic for capping numbers allowed to go to medical school at the momen? thetimes.co.uk/article/478e83…
