All connected. 🧠🌳💚 We joined Moi University for Mental Health Awareness Day to address how substance use disorders mimic mental health conditions — prompted by recent tragic suicide cases. 🆘 ✅ Shared 2024 drug use status findings among Moi students ✅ Promoted early intervention & healthy choices Then we planted 1,000 trees with students & @ELDOWAS for the SDGs initiative. 🌱 Healing minds. Healing the planet. 💪🏾

🤝 PARTNERSHIPS FUEL SUSTAINABILITY. YESTERDAY, WE PROVED IT. In Siaya, we brought together: ✅ Kenya Wildlife Services ✅ Wildlife Clubs of Kenya ✅ Ministry of Education ✅ NACADA 📍 Sega School We engaged: 🧑🏾‍🏫 Teachers—on identifying students using drugs & guided steps to handle cases 👩🏾‍🎓 Students—on the dangers of substance abuse The result? Teachers admitted drug use is a major challenge. They appreciated the talk. We left with stronger allies in this fight. Together, we protect our children.

🌳 800 Trees, One Mission 🌱 We planted 800 trees today at Kithuani Primary and Senior School in Machakos! 🌳🇰🇪 As part of the national tree planting initiative, our Machakos County Office joined learners to nurture both the environment and young minds. We also sensitized students on the effects of alcohol and substance abuse. Strong roots. Strong futures. 💪🏾✨

🗳️ WE SHOWED UP AT THE ENHANCED, CONTINUOUS VOTER REGISTRATION (ECVR) LAUNCH. BECAUSE REGISTERING TO VOTE SHOULD ALSO MEAN REGISTERING TO PROTECT YOUR HEALTH. Today in Voi, our Taita Taveta Office joined @IEBCKenya at Taita Taveta National Polytechnic for the launch of the Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) —a 30-day nationwide drive starting March 30, 2026. We used the platform to: ✅ Share our mandate on alcohol & drug abuse prevention ✅ Discuss treatment & management options ✅ Promote collaboration with stakeholders ✅ Share 1192—our toll-free line for referrals, counseling & reporting Alongside IEBC, Sauti Ya Wanawake, and PWD representatives, we reminded Kenyans: civic empowerment + public health awareness = stronger communities. Register to vote. Stay informed. Call 1192 when you need help.
