if you think it's "degenerates" trading on clinical trial prediction markets, you have it completely wrong.
markets like these tend to attract incredibly competitive and nerdy and calculated people because who else would be interested risking money on this?
the people you have in mind have slot machines and roulette. and those are very popular products. this is not that.

FYI: The Sacramento Kings have had a better record since the ASB than the bottom 8 teams in the west!
The Seth Curry foul was used to allow the Kings to call their use it or lose it timeout and we retook the lead right after.
The Kings are the most ethical bad team in the NBA.

Another very good episode of risktakers pod (other then how nerdy it is that @egzee25 is young, rich and smart). My fave part was the discussion when @egzee25 talks about how he just launches stuff and sees where it goes. I think jumping right into betting something new you built seems counterintuitive, but in my experience not betting things or betting too little has been a far more common mistake then betting things that weren't good. I think this advice is really only applicable to people who have figured out how to win in betting. But just do stuff, see how it goes, make sure it can't go TOO bad, and then iterate.
