@CIDJournal The goose will be fine. Bacteria only care that the antibiotics have arrived in their house in adequate numbers to poison them. They don't care whether they took a car, taxi, or bus.

While they can become super infected & important to assess for that if fevering etc, the vast majority can & should be managed only with local wound care + offer MOUD to reduce xylazine use. excellent outcomes in those who on +MOUD engage w regularly w wound care
