Wow, excellent post cause that's exactly how it feels when you're on the receiving end. It took me years to figure out it wasn't me so much. And after you get to that point, you begin to realize how stupid you've actually been to believe they ever loved or valued you. I'm not saying everything was their fault however I should've known better a very long time ago. I have to pay the piper for not being smart enough to find a way out earlier cause now I'm 67 and crippled from severe arthritis. It seems life is all about caring for yourself, making good solid decisions, realizing when enough is enough, and to think of money in a whole different way. My apologies, I don't know what got into me. I only meant to comment on your post as being a good and truthful one.

Hello, I am a liberal so I was just listening to MPR and a woman witness whose house (seems to be) on the side of the street as the shooting cop, just said that the cop was basically belly to the front bumper and then she seems to floor it. The verbatim was on X like two minutes ago. It seems like self defense to me. I just don't want there to be misunderstandings or trouble.

This brought tears to my eyes. I feel this man’s anger. I feel this man’s pain. An actual Venezuelan stood in front of protesters opposing U.S. involvement and told them the truth to their faces. Not from a textbook. Not from ideology. From lived suffering. From years of hunger, fear, silence, and loss. And I cannot understand how the left is behaving this way. You spent months chanting “no kings.” Screaming about tyranny. Calling everyone you disagree with a dictator. And now what do you do? You protect a fucking dictator. An actual fucking king. Most Venezuelans support what is happening right now because for the first time in years, they can finally see the possibility of freedom. That matters to people like me. To my family. To Cubans all over the world who still live with the hope that one day Cuba might also be free. I applaud this man. He was surrounded by liberals who tried to talk over him, shout him down, and lecture him about a country they have never lived in. And he did not back down. Not for a second. His voice was angry because it carried loss. His voice was painful because it carried truth. And his voice was powerful because it came from experience, not privilege. This isn’t compassion. It’s contempt. Contempt for this country. Contempt for working people. Contempt for anyone who earns, builds, creates, or survives without asking permission. You don’t hate power. You hate accountability. You don’t stand with the oppressed. You side with whoever lets you feel morally superior without doing a goddamn thing. So thank you to this man.
