@mudlock This actually highlights something we put a lot of thought into – ovals on either side of the paper aren’t aligned behind each other, so that if ink seeps through, it can’t be misread as a vote. The correct paper weight is important for tabulator reading accuracy.

I know, it doesn’t look like much.
Except this is ink seeping THROUGH my Maine absentee ballot.
How is this acceptable paper for this oh-so-important use?
Something @MESecOfState needs to know about.
